Such a great world but too many aspects…

The world and characters are great but there are too many diverse aspects for consistent development. Also, STOP READING THE ENTIRE CHARACTER OR TRAIT DEV SHEET FOR EVERY UPDATE! I know that’s a burden of presenting this genre in Audio, but just Highlight the changes and leave the rest for a couple Full updates per book. I have to hit 30sec advance like 6-7times every time he checks his sheets. Which is extra odd since Book 1 set up that they would have a more natural and intuitive progression and then that just got completely Dropped for this extensive game UI interface.

Powerful story, drawn out soooo long

Amazing world and details, but wow are all these pieces milked for so much drama that it gets really really slow… I’ll keep going, however I almost wish I hadn’t found the series because by the next book I can barely remember the pieces of the former plots..

Really getting potent!

Really epic where this has progressed in 4 books. Awesome in-game world, and weird opening for the story of the “real world” too. A bit singularly focused on Joe’s progression but it’s epic, and speeds through some massive adventures.

Humor Amidst the Horror of Living

Very creative, surprising and descriptive adventure through the transition from youth to adulthood, and dramatic symbology of the struggles that teens and young adults face to create their lives. It’s easy to float on the surface layer of the battles and failures, but there are many many deeper lessons about life here.

I kinda wish Travis stuck to Awaken Online since I want to continue devouring those stories, but I can see the creativity and other views he can express in this world as well.

Dude works with Demons…

I love and resonate with Ganesha, so I was excited about this book. But once this guy opens up talking about how he and his friends work with Demons, I just didn’t wanna be any part of this anymore. Wish I could get my two dollars back.

Epic Transition of Style & World Expansion

All of the books are clever, yet this one expands the scope of the world suddenly, dramatically and yet also logically. It makes sense to broaden the Horizon for these characters and to open lots of new areas for the problems and potential solutions to arise. Great action and intrigue too! Excited for all 30 volumes!

This whole book(a) is so formulaic and redundant to other works. I can’t even finish this recording.

Not just 1 but 4 or maybe More orphans who may all be “chosen ones”. Bleh.

Dragon bonding thats nothing special.

Magic that has almost no principles or structure. Dragons can only provide magic, but there are crystals that can too… sigh.

Once the magical kitchen could summon food on command, I couldn’t take any more.
