Sarah is a force of power that gives us an understanding of how once past, often generation after generation can lead to a path that crushes once dreams and one self instead of blossoming into ones true potential. Hearing the pain in Elizabeths voice made the experience of listening even more real. Having kids on my own this book was a reminder of how important it is to show out kids love and let them know we see them, for real. While being an authority as a parent should be, at the same time. It doesn’t have to be the one or the other.
