Historia
Holt and Ash saved the kingdom of Feorlen against all odds. Now they are outcasts, alone on an impossible quest to unite the Elder Dragons. But they are children playing in a game of Dragon Lords. Trapped between the riders, servants of Sovereign, and the scourge, even their luck cannot last forever. Their only hope is to advance their bond by any means necessary. In Feorlen, Talia faces a world unaccepting of a rider queen. Her councilors will not heed her warnings of Sovereign. Foreign powers threaten war and bloodshed. Pleas sent to rider headquarters fall on deaf ears.

Excellent trilogy!
Revisado: 08-07-24
I'm loving this dragon trilogy and book 2 does not disappoint. The author does a great job of letting us into the hearts and minds of his characters. He cleverly shows the wounds and pain from their past that shape who they become. There are no truly evil people, or dragons, only terribly wounded ones that become lost and miserable.

Do you feel emotionally numb, or are you unable to truly feel your emotions? You are not alone. And maybe you need to stop blaming yourself. We are all affected by our early experiences both good and bad. But for many of us, the patterns of our younger years have damaged us as adults, leaving us unable to truly feel or form lasting positive relationships with ourselves and others.

Definitely worth the read!
Revisado: 03-22-24
This book offers compassionate and wise insights about the human condition of childhood pain. I love his philosophy of healing by increasing awareness of our feelings. Alex is very knowledgeable and has some wonderful suggested practices. I beliece he's missing a key component of healing which is to get consistent loving support from someone who's not also our partner to give us the unconditional love we didn't get during the trauma and likely never got in our childhood.
If you're looking for spiritual insights and Truth, this book won't help much.
I enjoyed hearing the author read. Many times he spoke a word or phrase so softly I couldn't understand him.

Historia
Despite our best intentions, most of us are woefully unprepared to become parents. In Real Love in Parenting, you will learn why children are so often angry, rebellious, disobedient, and otherwise difficult; what the real reason is for why you get angry at your children; how you can teach your children to be loving, responsible, and happy; what you should teach your children about sex; what your children are trying to tell you and why you are not hearing it; and what you should do when children quarrel with one another.

Best parenting book I've ever read!

The only parenting book that really works!
Revisado: 02-11-16
The principles taught in this book are effective, easy, and work not only for raising happy children, they also make happy, peaceful parents! I am finally learning how to really love my children unconditionally and teach them how to be responsible and happy. In a world increasingly filled with miserable, irresponsible and even violent children we need tools that really work every time - with no gimmicks. When these principles are consistently applied they are miraculous!!! The book is easy to understand and filled with many helpful stories from the author's years of experience that describe how the principles work in real life. These principles work for young children as well as our young adult children. If I had to recommend only 1 book to every new parent (and old parents too) it would be Real Love in Parenting every time.
