A different take on werewolves

This series although it’s about werewolves. It’s more about the people who are the werewolves.

I have listened to the book series already at least five times or more. That is not something that I would usually do.

I just spent 14 days in the hospital and I just wasn’t feeling good and I couldn’t follow any of my new books although they are very interesting. I found myself turning this on for at least an hour every night or more because it didn’t matter if I fell asleep when I woke up I knew where I was in the book.

My audible library is pretty close to about 800 books now. I usually buy the Kindle book at the same time so I can do immersion
reading when I’m at home.

I have many genres that I read, I can go from reading a true story about World War II and stick with that thing for a while. But those are not books I reread.

I live alone and my family is not close to my location. I live in an apartment building for people over 55 and I have plenty of good friends here but with Covid people in our
Building pretty much shut down to outsiders so that we didn’t have an outbreak in our building.

I don’t know if we were hit by Covid that would’ve even discovered this series

I am almost 70 and this is not a child book series.

If you’re checking it out at least try the first book and see what you think.

I really enjoyed the concept of the book , it was just what I was looking for at this time.

I would have loved this book but the person reading it which by the way is doing his job well just can’t put Rafe’s character in my mind other than that good book

narration ruined a good book

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I read the book and it was very good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gwyneth, she was real to me. Then, now, a father's neglect can change the way a young women sees her own value.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Andrew Bryan?

I do not think anyone could have done worse. When I first heard his voice playing the part of the women Gwyneth lived with I pulled off my headphones. Andrew what were you thinking? There is no way you heard that and did not think you should back out of that job, you should never do a woman's voice or that of a child. Saying that your own voice is very good, whoever approved this did you a great disservice.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment, I checked to see if they changed narrators but finding they didn't I won't be buying anymore of this series.

Any additional comments?

To Andrew, change your name for awhile so people will give you a chance. To the author if you change narrators your audible readers could really enjoy your books. I have read hundreds of books and enjoyed hundreds of audible books I felt I needed to explain giving such harsh numbers, I wish you both the best.
