Historia
Two superheroes become suspicious of their city's most powerful hero, the seemingly-invulnerable Magma Man, when something he says during a poker game doesn't add up. Why would he lie? Was he trying to protect someone? Was he drunk? Okay, he was probably drunk. But, is he in league with the villain? is he the villain? And if he is, how can he be stopped?

A Colorful Mixture of Woke DC and Marvel
Revisado: 12-30-23
Cartoonish, but not campy. I enjoyed this moshup of different superheroes. It was filled with lots of twist. It was enjoyable to see how current affairs and issues were addressed in this saga. I am glad I got it when I did.
My biggest thought was that this would make great material for an Adult Swim, Netflix or Prime Video series.

Boys town meets Lord of the Flies?
Revisado: 12-30-23
I could sense the realism as I listened to the story. I was reminded of my days at stay away summer camp and stories I heard of the Vindicate Society in Newark, NJ.
The narrator’s voice gave the experience the feel of a camp fire story. I am glad I listened to this story of redemption, compassion, caring and service to others.

Cameron Rutter drowned two months ago in a lake on a Cheshire moor. Some say a morgen—a spirit who drags men to a watery grave—was responsible. Others say it was the phantom Grey Lady. The police say Gareth Gynne was the guilty one. Whoever—or whatever—killed Cameron needs to be sorted out. And ex-police detective Michael McLaren is asked to do just that.

Surprising Ending Made It Worth The Trip
Revisado: 11-12-23
I enjoyed how the Author and Narrator transported me overseas. It had a fun mixture of folklore, mystery and murder. This was the first of the books in the series I have been exposed and it was a great winding down the day listen.
I especially liked learning about the slogan "There are no traitors in this house.".

All the grit, gore and glory of the wild west
Revisado: 10-29-23
This is a fast paced western that will leave you clinging to your saddle. It begins with violence and ends on a note that leaves you wanting more. I fully enjoyed the delivery.

A Wonderful Origin Story
Revisado: 09-28-23
I loved the delicious blending of modern themes on a days of yore story. There was suspense, romance and culture in the right amount to make me think of television series or Movies.
The narrator did a wonderful job giving it the feeling of a bedtime story. I like how the author delved in to the characters backgrounds and stories to make the interesting and come to life.
This was fun and even bought a few tears to my eyes. I was intrigued to discover who the murderer and villains were.

Coded Boy and The Elite Team return to save the world against Destroyable Boy and Co. But, unfortunately, things don't go as planned this time around because the British prime minister and Captain Browbottom take them, as they were blamed for the American president’s demise. The timing couldn't be worse as Quashcain, Ralph Mischief, President Dump, and Destroyable Boy begin destroying buildings looking for codes, so they can find Crisco Island. A big rectangular green beast with spots all over, called Yachatal, rises from the empty river to help the team and to help save Earth.

The greatest thing about this episode is it developed the parents character. It sets the stage for a lot of Easter eggs to be discovered in future releases. I look forward to hearing more of Coded Boy’s adventures.

Really Catches You At Where You Are In Life
Revisado: 07-16-23
It think that the hero narrative must have a component of spurned love interest. That’s what this story includes. Listening to this project I thought about Gary Coxe and my own personal experiences.
Brendon’s passion and dedication clearly comes through the speaker. It’s intimacy allowed me permission to examine myself and see where I could implement his suggestion.
I look forward to listening to this again. I really loved his style of short precise points which mirror my learning, writing and speaking style.

Genesis of an Epic Battle of Good Versus Evil
Revisado: 03-27-21
I enjoyed this story and reading because I felt like I was listening to a movie. This is a fun origins tale that made me think of Doug Adams and Monty Python. Themes of bullying and coming of age are woven throughout this magical superhero tales.
I especially like how the story set me up for the next one. The voicing was very entertaining and added to the overall quality.
