I have listened to over 140 audible books. There are some that leave me wishing I had not listened. Many leave wishing for more. The start of this book was a little slow, but when the story kicked in, WOW! I felt like I wanted to see this story in the movies. It was captivating, engaging, exciting and thrilling all at once. I loved, loved, loved the ending. The narrator left me feeling like I was right in the manor with Mouse. I wish the story could go on and on. Thank you for the entertainment.

Good but...

The narration was excellent. Varied voices kept all of the characters organized. I like Andrew Grey books and have listened to several. I would like hear more compelling dialog from the characters. Dialog that might make me scratch my head and think. I found some of the subject matter repeated throughout the book in slightly different words. I would also like to hear dialog that would be typical for the age group of the characters. For example...at one point Tristan is getting dressed while Harry waits. Tristan says "let me finish dressing..." I struggled with that choice of words. A normal conversation might have had him say "let me get dressed...or...let me finish getting dressed". The author's choice reminded of a snobbish old woman. But of course I'm not the author.
