I've listened to and read much on the subject from several different nutritive perspectives - paleo to vegan, keto to carb centered - this one has me 95% convinced on Dr Taubes' ideology.

Just another cleanse

I'm no PhD but I have extensive experience in the fitness industry and this is just a dressed up cleanse. She has some valid points about the affects of foods on the various hormones - the only saving grace of the book - but she intends for you to eliminate most foods systematically for 21 days every 90 days. Who WOULDN'T lose weight? And not exercise because you may eat more? What about all the added health benefits of being active the negate the small amount more you may eat ESPECIALLY if it's unprocessed, low glycemic foods? Nope, this method is definitely not for me.
