the only complaint I have is I want more. it would be nice to dump stardom's ex out of the story. realistically by now she would have too much evidence against her for her to accomplish anything outright with a player base

she destroyed it

I finished the entire book but it was not easy. the story had amazing potential. the narrator would have been better off monotone. I would love to say that the southern accent she gave the mc is what did it ,but sadly no its worse. she made the mc (a poc) sound like white trailer trash. this carries over hard to other characters. As a born and raised southerner it is like nails on a chalkboard to hear someone try to lay that accent on too thick. one character is supposed to be Hispanic in some form but sounds like you guessed it some form of exaggerated white southern with a dab of entitled. please buy the book do not get the audiobook I beg you

Going into the story I worried it was going to be immature. But I thourghly enjoyed the logical actions.. not a murder hobo... not self righteous. . .. definitely more nuetral... looking forward to book 2...

the only problem I found with the book is repetitive use of comparisons in the last few books. like a hot knife through butter to be precise. the whole series has been great. the addition of ptsd gave it more realism. I look forward to the rest

narration is a zero

narrator is unbearable.. has real problems reading.. calls mp or mana... magical points. Monotoned. Suffered 2 hours before I realized I didn't have a clue whats going on in the story since I spent 2 hours mentally correcting the narration. Sadist? Nope calls it saddest. Chokes coughs... horrible pacing. Doesn't have the slightest clue what he is reading.... I have near 100 titles and this is the only one I just couldn't finish.
