Ever listen to story so boring your bones ached? Ever known a writer who “speaks” in phrases, assuming you will fill in the verb? Ever listen to a narrator whose delivery so unnatural it reminds you of AI generation? If your answer to these is “no”, and you wish to experience all of it, then latch on to this turkey. As for me, I will say no thanks. I’m done with this author. I can only tolerate so much.

Great action thriller, unencumbered by boring detail. Story moves along with a steady pace.
Narration mixed. Cassidy’s narration is more natural than her counterpart, who (sorry) is a bit stilted. Not minding that, I enjoyed the story.

Oh…what to say? …. Don’t snooze when listening to this convoluted, confusing quagmire of a story, whose plot is hardly likely. The complicated web spun by the author reads as though Baldacci while writing is saying, “ If this isn’t confusing enough, I’ll throw this in”. What might have otherwise, had there been clearer, simpler crafting, been a good read, becomes a laborious labor, an exercise, a test of one’s level of endurance .

Do not…Do Not waste your time or money. What to do with a slogging, boring, turkey of a novel? Well, easy! You get Scott Brick to narrate with his inimitable overly-dramatic, un-natural inflection and irritating emphasis on that which said in a natural voice would be a recipe for a sleep aid. Sorry, Scott, but this piece of tripe proved to be beyond your talent to rescue. I, for one, will run like hell if I encounter another collaboration by these authors. This was not what Reacher fans want.

What a slog… slow and a bit silly. There was enough deadwood to start a fire… a slow smoldering fire that gives no benefit to the story. I couldn’t finish this turkey. Maybe I’m too picky, wanting more action and less mundane filler. With that said, just read this and tell me if I’m wrong.

How can a 16 word minimum when there is nothing to say about anything. That needs to be removed

Oh, my living crap. This story is not only painfully boring, it is rendered further irritating by the un-natural, overly dramatic, fake narration. (sorry Mr. R). Kellerman screws up everything with his minutiae, dragging out a story that could be told in a quarter of the time this turkey took. What is this crazy speak, using phraseology akin prompts in a play script?Example: (paraphrasing) “black four door sedan”
“frightened woman at wheel”. Mr. Kellerman, sentences have subjects and predicates. I could not make it through this slogger. It was like wading through setting cement laced with acid. I’m done, so done.

How do you know when are listening to a boring story? It’s when Scott Brick over-dramatizes a dreary, tedious piece of drab doldrum. It doesn’t work, Scott. This is Nelson DeMille? Really? I could not bring myself to slog through this marathon of tedium that could be told in half the time, had not it been so full of deadwood. I’m done with this collaboration series. Give me Nelson DeMille solo or nothing.

Convoluted …A reach..pun intended. Not the familiar Reacher novel. Scott Brick does his best to dramatize an otherwise dreary story. (yawn). Excuse me. I need a nap.
