Titanic Signaled
Revisado: 04-14-15
It detailed more information about the survivors after the ship sank, how they were rescued and some surprising outcomes about the main characters as they returned to New York and resumed their lives. Sophie's mom, a liberated woman had refused to be rescued from the sinking ship because the priority was women and children first she wanted to make a statement of equality with men her daughter had to trick her into a inflatable rescue boat.

Titanic's Demise
Revisado: 04-13-15
Jack the Ripper, Sophie, and Alfie's confrontation on the ship's deck, just as it hits the iceberg and starts to take water sidetracks the beginning of the more serious concern of a sinking ship, catching them unprepared and most unaware of the dangers ahead. The variation of each character was well performed by the narration using different tones of English accents & language tones.

Historia
The Titanic is meant to be unsinkable, but as it begins its maiden voyage, there’s plenty of danger waiting for four of its young passengers. Paddy is a stowaway, escaping a deadly past. Sophie’s mother is delivered to the ship by police - after she and Sophie have been arrested. Juliana’s father is an eccentric whose riches can barely hide his madness. And Alfie is hiding a secret that could get him kicked off the ship immediately.

Titanic's Maiden Voyage
Revisado: 04-13-15
Enjoyed listening to the 1st part of Unsinkable: Titanic will downloaded 2 and part 3, I saw the movie version for this story my memorable moment is right at the end of part 1 where the Captain of the ship was given a message about icebergs up ahead and he just puts the information into his pocket without reading it. Narration by Michael Page is clear and easy to listen too.

In Ordinary Grace, Krueger looks back to 1961 to tell the story of Frank Drum, a boy on the cusp of manhood. Boyhood Perspective
Revisado: 03-20-15
Good storyline and easy to listen to narration, the characters with diverse flaws are described as the story entails loss, hope, and faith each deals with limitations, and circumstances detailed throughout the story from the perspective of a young boy and younger brother. You can relate to the Drum family & characters of a small town's experiences with understanding.

Historia
In 2010, Scott Walker was elected governor of Wisconsin with a mandate to improve its economy and restore fiscal responsibility. With the state facing a $3.6 billion budget deficit, he proposed a series of reforms to limit the collective bargaining power of public employee unions, which was costing taxpayers billions in pension and health care costs. The reaction was swift and severe. Angry protesters gathered outside the capitol, teacher unions accused him of sabotaging education, and the media descended on Wisconsin to make it a national controversy.

"Unintimidated Governor"
Revisado: 01-18-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Unintimidated to be better than the print version?
Loved the audio version since its read by Scott Walker in his own words, you get the sense of all the details, thoughts and concerns of a better than most political candidate no matter what he chooses to run for. He has a sincere, positive, message and as a preachers son can quote bible verses that he obviously takes to heart. His parents raised a considerate son, I recalled how this Wisconsin Governor was challenged when he faced the Occupy members in the governor's mansion and the destruction they left behind, the unions attacking him and threatened his family, as they appeared and harassed him on all proposals he promoted in behalf of the State of Wisconsin and its citizens. There's so many difficulties he faced to be a conscientious leader, and was able to stand his ground with a moral decency and provide the changes that improved the State of Wisconsin for the better. Our political leaders need to take notice of how Scott Walker and his leadership abilities, with the best ideas puts others first, while others lead with selfish reasons and shame themselves in comparison.
What other book might you compare Unintimidated to and why?
This is my first political story I don't have another to compare it to, but If I did I think this one would top the list from all the others, only because Scott Walker's courage went beyond what you'd expect our politicians even when they have had many political terms to their credit. Hard to stand for the people, and by the people when your threatened and consistently challenged for it.
What does Scott Walker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Just the sound of his voice describing his ideas, all incidents, and challenges he endured as he governed. He takes an idea to its fulfillment and in turn provides proposals that provide a future for those who have the privilege of living in Wisconsin. If he can do a great job there just imagine what he would do for the nation as a whole. He seems to be a man of his word and takes it seriously with the most thoughtful care and consideration.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I enjoyed the book he gives a lot of information in short concise chapters and explains the challenges he faced well, but I really wanted to listen to his audio story the plus came when he read it in his own words, if someone else had done his reading for him it might not have been a good as it is. I highly recommend this book to anyone who might be interested in a political story read in a clear tone by a thought provoking leader. Scott Walker is a great narrator for his own book, best wishes and much success to his family and for his future endeavors, he's had a lot of experience to share in a short time and hopefully the nation will acknowledge his contributions and learns from his leadership skills.
Any additional comments?
No other political candidate has sparked my interest as this one has and he would be a great one to listen to as the upcoming GOP President 2016 appears with the usual candidates willing to lead and run for the privilege to lead our nation, if all would rule in favor of its citizens, we would all be in a better place, not only here but throughout the world.

LT Michael P Murphy-An Honorable Life Story
Revisado: 01-12-15
If you could sum up Seal of Honor in three words, what would they be?
Best Distinguished Military Life Story-Could not describe it in less than the five words, I was thoroughly engrossed with the details of LT Michael P Murphy's Life and the legacy he leaves and inspires all who appreciate the contributions of military service, he and the 19 Seal Team Brothers engaging with a selfless valor.
What did you like best about this story?
It's a life story of an honorable LT Murphy and also mentions the Seal Team members that were assaulted on the Afghanistan mountain ridge on June 28, 2005 as they pursued a Taliban leader and his followers the mountain tigers who terrorizes the surrounding villages and the inhabitants with abusive and threatening ways.(previewed on "Soul Survivor" movie) This audible book gives you lots of insights of the incidents and the aftermath with a personable touch for all the lives mentioned, the eulogies by distinguished military in behalf of their own, just breath-taking and inspirational, distinguished metals awarded or badges earned, city recognitions, park, golf course, post office, White House Honors with President Bush, and the Warship USS Michael P Murphy so many mentioned it makes a lasting impression for so well deserved by those who serve wholeheartedly our Country with honorable mention of their lives.
What does A. T. Chandler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Its important to me that the narrator speak clearly, and I usually select books that have a good English diction, its just to hard to listen to otherwise, if the accent is too harsh. I enjoyed the narration and if I needed to repeat some sections it was because of the many details described of this true life story. Excellent narrator!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Oh, I simply loved and enjoyed it. The book neither made me laugh or cry its a real life story of a distinguished life who will be missed by those who loved him and our nation will always remember how he served it in life & eternal repose with the many landmarks named in his honor.
Any additional comments?
LT Michael P Murphy seemed to be a sensitive, compassionate soul along with his
Seal Team brothers who respond in courage and in defense for love of Country may we value their unique lives with our deepest admiration.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Wow, just an honest description, of a worthy hero
Revisado: 12-10-14
What made the experience of listening to American Sniper the most enjoyable?
Our country uses the military to protect the nation against those who would do us harm, and I selected this title to discern the mindset of a national hero and get insights of the valor of those called to serve in defense of America and its inhabitants.
What did you like best about this story?
It's an autobiography of Chris Kyle, his thoughts, experiences, and encounters detailed in a thought-provoking ways, who accomplished his desire to become an American Sniper through persistent determination, loyalty to his country and his family. What a heartfelt tribute he leaves for those who appreciate the hardships of our men and women who serve so selflessly.
What about John Pruden’s performance did you like?
He expressed the autobiography with a clear tone, he had no accent and his inflection was easy to understand.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Oh, there is and the title is American Sniper, opens on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 a must see and I hope too!
Any additional comments?
My first review on Audibles of a wonderful real life story, it was a pleasure to have listened to this book and movie title can hardly wait to see what the film industry does with this worthy life story, I just hope my future selections measure up or exceed in comparison.
