The author seems to think he has to do a verbal conversion from feet to centimeters. It gets annoying very quickly. Let the listeners do their own conversations. Also, if you are going to read something like this, put some excitement in your voice. We are talking about a potentially dangerous creature.

I had a crazy uncle, like most everyone does. Many of his stories were about a big hairy monster that lived in the woods behind his cabin in the woods. He called the monster Bigfoot, a name I thought he made up when I was eight years old because I hadn’t heard the word before that. He had a Bigfoot encounter and was worried about abduction and attack all the time. My story takes place while I was in college, but it started way before that when Uncle Chip was still alive.

I felt like the story was ramped up and parts could have been left out. Needless information to pad the story.

He likes to talk about wet dreams and masterbation. Honest but crude. Some things he says don't help his story, but just makes him sound arrogant. Tactful articulation can lead the reader to the same conclusion without being crude. All in all however, the book was interesting and honest.
