Historia
Tricked into a world of banished gods, demons, goblins, sprites and magic, Richter must learn to meet the perils of The Land and begin to forge his own kingdom. Actions have consequences across The Land, with powerful creatures and factions now hell-bent on Richter's destruction. Can Richter forge allegiances to survive this harsh and unforgiving world or will he fall to the dark denizens of this ancient and unforgiving realm? A tale to shake "The Land" itself, measuring 10/10 on the Richter scale, how will Richter's choices shape the future of The Land and all who reside in it?

Fantastic Series
Revisado: 11-29-20
I have finished the series as far as it can go at this point and waiting on more. This in a niche genre and I am well aware of that. For some people it will drive them nuts hearing all about the stats, pick up, and leveling. I get it. For those of us who grew up with D&D, I enjoyed hearing what the item/people/location stats are/is. For those who do not get into that sort of thing, I would say move on, this is not for you. As other have stated it is a great read with the entire gambit at your finger tips. I could not put it down and will keep reading and listening to anything Aleron puts out.

Horrible preformance killed the book
Revisado: 10-29-17
I am not a harsh reviewer, most any books that I can make it through I will give 4-5 stars, sometimes it is subject matter or genre I am trying out. It is ok, I understand I am not going to like everything. Melissa Moran was fine in the first 2 after I speed it up to 1.1 or 1.2, I gave it 5 stars, I could get through it and it is a good story. This however was a complete gut job and the producer needs to be fired. It killed any semblance of the story, I had it up to 1.5 just to make it through. I came away with the feeling the story was just ok, instead of great story which it should be. I have listened to the sample of the 4th and will not purchase that, period. They both feel that they are being read by someone who is just learning to read, pointed, hesitant and drawn out. There was no performance to this book and if I could find a negative scale it would have clicked it. I figured after 3 chapters it would get better...it didn't.

Sebastien Ranes’s single mom and her feckless boyfriend can’t be bothered to take care of a stuttering 12-year-old. Banished to live with his grandmother on the far side of the country, the boy can barely understand a bus schedule when he gets dumped at the Greyhound station in Stockton, California. Given $35 and a one-way ticket to Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sebastien must cross the country - alone, without a clue how to fend for himself. Filled with youthful anger and naïveté, Sebastien heads out into the "Morning in America" of Ronald Reagan’s 1980s.

Could not put it down
Revisado: 07-02-16
This was an excellent read or in my case listen. The story was brought to life and I was spell bound by the story. In writings such as these I almost hate to say I loved it, because it was real; it happened. The good and the bad, so in that since, I would just say thank you for sharing your story. For the readers/Listeners, it is well worth your time. I am on to the next chapter (Fugue State) to catch up on the future.

Historia
A teenage girl awakens to find herself trapped in a coffin. She has no idea who she is, where she is, or how she got there. Fighting her way free brings little relief - she discovers only a room lined with caskets and a handful of equally mystified survivors. Beyond their room lies a corridor filled with bones and dust but no people and no answers. She knows only one thing about herself - her name, M. Savage, which was engraved on the foot of her coffin. She finds herself in charge. She is not the biggest among them or the boldest, but for some reason the others trust her.

Not up to Sigler standards
Revisado: 08-08-15
I have been a long time listener of Scott's. This book at times left me bored. While the premise of the story was good it only moved along slowly. I kept waiting for the classic twist and when it finally got here it was....ok. He has done better. If I had the printed version of this book and not the audiobook I would have skipped entire chapters.
