I was drawn to this book because of the title. It is exactly what it implies!: RomCom, paranormal, and chick lit. It's a light-hearted, fun story about Lia, who ACTUALLY never really knows what is going on. She is always left out of the loop and as a result finds herself in some strange situations. Meanwhile, paranormal happenings help guide her along as well as make for some funny dialogue.
I was a bit skeptical about the narrator at the beginning but as the story progressed and new characters were introduced, Rosie O'Toole really made the story an enjoyable listen. I did have a few LOL moments. Cute story!

Narration is SOO good!

I don't normally listen to paranormal books, but this story grabbed my attention from this start. There is some world-building and the dynamic relationships between the characters is engaging. I enjoyed Parker and Luna's story.
The multiple narrators really hooked me into the story, as the characters were very well performed and likeable.
It has both action and romance and I can't wait to listen to VOL 2
