Fantastic for any level of biblical knowledge

Listening to God's word everyday has been such a blessing. I never understood how all the books of the Bible were connected until listening to this. I would recommend this to anyone who has been studying scripture their entire life to anyone who has never heard a word of the Bible and everyone in between.

Stumbled upon this while looking for something related to the Beautitudes. What a wonderful find that I can't stop recommending to friends and family. This book can be categorized as "self help" but distinguishes itself by focusing on not just what you can do for yourself but what you must do for others. The author elequently removes the mask of worldly things to recognize it the awe and beauty of God's design. Finally, it is astonishing to see how this book written in 1989 is incredibly applicable to today's world. I bought the paperback as well and it will be re-read many times. Highly recommend

Pretty inspiring story given the background. Lost track of how many times the dude divorced and he didn't mention much about being a present father. I can't get over him sacrificing that for what seems like selfish accolades.
