A fantastic adventure

I enjoyed the ride this story brought me on! But love triangles are not my thing. The love triangle was annoying to me.

Cutesy

This story definitely had the Ghibli feels. No complaints on the narrator. But unfortunately it was just a tad bit boring. Very predictable but I did stick to the very end.

Historia
Nanao, nicknamed Ladybug - the self-proclaimed “unluckiest assassin in the world” - boards a bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with one simple task: Grab a suitcase and get off at the next stop. Unbeknownst to him, the deadly duo Tangerine and Lemon are also after the very same suitcase - and they are not the only dangerous passengers onboard. Satoshi, “the Prince”, with the looks of an innocent schoolboy and the mind of a viciously cunning psychopath, is also in the mix and has history with some of the others.

Has its differences from the movie.
Revisado: 12-14-23
Different from the movie. But I have deeply enjoyed both the novel and the movie! The narrator did spectacular! Giving each character their own voice!

On this 4th installment, I have finally cried in! I’m a sucker for the death of dogs! The narrator is a good one, giving each character their own voice which I deeply appreciate!

This series was enjoyable. I honesty wish Arina Li would’ve done more narrating. Heck, even narrate together with Kevin Shen!!

Revisado: 12-14-23
I have thoroughly enjoyed The War of Lost Hearts.
I enjoyed all the characters, the world building, the emotions the story put me through!
As for the narrators…I can say I enjoyed listening to Esther Wane. As good for Dan Calley…I’m sorry but I could not stand his narration.

Started off good but ending was disappointing
Revisado: 12-14-23
Starting, it felt promising. Interesting world building, different types of magic. But as the ending was approaching, it felt extremely rushed and felt like the author was just ready to end it. The ending was left open, but it was a bit of a sad ending to me, which to me I enjoy a sad ending. The narrator I enjoyed. Giving each characters their own voices so it’s easier to keep up with who is talking.
