WOW!
Revisado: 03-20-25
This book blew me away! It takes you on a serious emotional roller coaster! Prepare yourself for lots of jaw dropping, crying, frustrated screaming, and falling even more in love with Haymitchs character. There are so many twists and turns from the very first chapter, you won’t want to put it down!

So Good!
Revisado: 05-11-24
This book was so good! Perfect for readers who like murder mysteries that aren’t overly graphic. Don’t get me wrong, it does make it clear what happened but I don’t feel like it’s too graphic. It reminds me A LOT of The Island by Natasha Preston. I highly recommend this book if you like a mystery thriller with so many twists and turns that you won’t want to put it down!

A little slow at first but ended up really good!
Revisado: 05-11-24
This was a very twisty book. You never know what to expect. The ending really caught me by surprise. It honestly reminded me of The Lions Den by Katherine St. John. Not exactly the same but very similar twists and turns. Highly recommend!

Still The YA Thriller Queen!
Revisado: 03-02-22
Honestly I never had any doubts. The book was as good as all the rest, but what has gotten a little annoying is all of the cliff hangers without any continuation. Don't get me wrong I love a good cliff hanger as much as the next person, but if there is a cliff hanger I feel like there should be a continuation in another book. However, knowing Natasha Preston's style of writting there will not be a continuation for this book. Even so, I still highly recommend this book. It will keep you reading into the night and keep you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who the murderer is.

Historia
Rosie is fairly certain that there's nothing wrong with putting a love spell on a foreign prince. At least she hopes there's not, because such a drastic measure is necessary in order for her to ensure that the perfect fairy tale romance she's dreamt about her entire life includes her own prince charming. As the heroine in her story, she won't be deterred by well-meaning friends, royal betrothals, hungry dragons, or the intriguing guard who stands in her way.

Good Storyline. Bad Main Character.
Revisado: 04-13-21
While I absolutely loved the storyline, the main character is beyond frustrating! She is so determined to believe that everything is literally part of a fairytale that it's almost like she think she can get away with anything because she wills it so. She refuses to listen to any kind of reason but her own and is quite honestly pretty selfish up until the end. She doesn't seem to care what happens as long as it results in her happily ever after. So, if you have an enormous amount of patience for characters stubborn to the extreme, I would recommend this book because despite how frustrating the character is, it is still a swoon worthy romance.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

SO CUTE!!!
Revisado: 02-07-21
This such a sweet and cute story! I loved the personalities of both Cal and Vera! And I also have to say that the two narrators were PERFECT! Neil Hellegers sounded just like Sam Winchester from Supernatural, which made me love the character even more! It does drop 4 or 5 f-bombs but that is the worst. I would recommend this to anyone who loves sweet ooey gooey romances!

Great Story
Revisado: 01-30-21
This was such a great story. I loved Megan and Owen together so much! They perfectly balanced each other's personalities with Owen reminding Megan that she is amazing and shouldn't sell herself short, and Megan bringing Owen out of his shell and encouraging him with writing his play. There was something I did have an issue with however. I wasn't super thrilled with how fast Megan wanted to have sex because she was afraid of losing another boyfriend. It just seemed a little desperate and I wish she respected herself more. (I also love that Owen is the one to teach her to respect herself more!)
Also, for those who scan reviews to see how steamy a book is before trying it, (I do this all the time) there is a sex scene but it was very mild and not at all graphic. And just a few f-bombs towards the end. I would definitely recommend this book!

Great Stories, Weird Male Narration
Revisado: 01-28-21
So let me just start off by saying that I loved these books. They were the sweet young adult romance I had hoped they would be. Mild swearing and no horribly graphic sex scenes, which is becoming harder and harder to find. The one thing I did have a hard time with was the female narrator reading from the guys p.o.v in the exact same way she read the girls. A lot of the time you can't tell the characters apart when the p.o.v changes. But other than that it was a great book!

When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL!!
Revisado: 08-11-20
I have always been a HUGE Twilight fan and have read the saga more times than I can count. When I heard that Midnight Sun was finally happening I was literally jumping up and down in anticipation, and it didn't disappoint! In fact I would say that I loved it just as much, if not MORE, than the original Twilight book. I love that it is so much more detailed and you actually get to know a side of Bella that, for me at least, didn't appear in the original saga. I loved learning the more detailed backgrounds of Edward and his family as well! I also have to give high praises to the narrator! He did an amazing job! (I also think its really awesome that they picked someone who was familiar with Stephanie Meyers work! Jake Abel did amazing as Ian in The Host!)

Enticing Story That Keeps You Wanting More!
Revisado: 01-10-20
I loved this book! It was filled with romance and a little mystery and suspense. Wanting to know what happened to Echo and her memory was a big reason that I read through it so fast and it didnt disappoint! The only thing I wish was different was the language. There were some crude words used throughout the book.
