Brief remarks:
Good storyline with the potential for even more development though that likely would lead to it lasting forever! It seemed very difficult to wrap things up (& what a fun manner!!!) already.

I definitely enjoyed hearing Gigi's story and the steamy scenes as well as the surprising twists were delicious as always!

Overall, I enjoyed my brief return to Ms. Molly's nearby fictional world in Kentucky and anxiously await her next few upcoming books and my return! Molly Harper delivers yet again, fellow fans! :-) I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

My I just beginny saying, I think Amanda Ronconi is one of, if not THE, BEST narrators in the business?! I buy books because she is reading them, at times!

As this story opens with our female "lead" and a car fire, I was already worried about boredom setting in. I am NOT a history fan. AT. ALL. In ANY way shape form it format. I admit this because the basic premise if this story is built upon restoring some significant music history in a super small Kentucky town . I started my yawn only to be interrupted by the hot save-the-lady "lead" dude. Hello, "trademark panty dropping smiles". *fist pump*! Does Ms. Harper know her readers, or what?! Lol

Seriously, I recommend sticking with the story as it gets interesting and has a really good twist to look forward to.

Light, uncomplicated, humorous at times & fun Molly Harper reading (listening)! She's sleaus worth my time ;)

My rating: 4/5 stars

My remarks:

Four SOLID/5 stars! I almost dropped that fifth one as I reeeeally liked this story! I may have liked it even more had I read it & not listened to it, but I'm not sure.

The narrator was adequate, but I found myself needing to rewind & re-listen many times throughout; I have found that's often due to my mind wandering & not feeling engaged while listening. Sadly & whether it's appropriate or not: I pin that on the poor narrator! (Apologies! No offense intended!).

I adore almost anything paranormal & this was definitely such! I do have to admit to getting irritated with "main characters" when they're ignoring/fighting their "gift" &/or keeping it a secret from an important friend, family member, significant other, etc., but not enough as to ruin the story for me.

Regardless, I'll definitely give book two a go, but I'm not sure which format I'll try next time.

No spoilers, just my rambling thoughts! 😉

Kinda neat after having read the first two...

One of my favorite narrators, first of all. Ms. Parker is amazing with her range of voices for her characters (female and make) and really enhances the audiobook experience!
This story was short & cute, but didn't really add much to the overall storyline. I've read & enjoyed the first two books in this series so far & it was kinda cool hearing Helena's perspective on events that have occurred, but I really got nothing substantial out of doing so. Meh. Still cute & a well written series overall :)
