The enthusiasm of the author. She carries you along. plus the information she's imparting is so interesting.

I was being so elitist about " like" and now I understand it better. I liked that. I also liked getting to the bottom of all the derogatory spots that work against women and the attitude that we can change it. I feel like this is information that is useful.

No It was a complete disappointment and a waste of time. Not even a good Cliff Notes version.

Once there, they find the place is absolutely bare of furniture, the paint job is all wrong, the skylight leaks, there is room for only one twin bed, and the wacky neighbors pop up at the worst times.

If you could sum up Hood in three words, what would they be?
Awesome historical background.
What does Adam Verner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The accent.
Any additional comments?
I loved the resetting and the background as to why. I loved the reality of it, but this is a well known story so needed more oomph! The action scenes are great, but there's so much exposition and description in between you get antsy for something to happen.
