This might be the best ending I have every witnessed, any movie, any book, would struggle to hold a candle to the epic scene that i just bore witness to.... if you have been here... this far along for the journey.... you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

The Floodplains of Liscor live up to their name, and the only way anyone is going to travel is by boat. With the rains come more monsters, dungeon delving, more goblins...not to mention some unwanted attention for the Wandering Inn.

A bit of a slow start, But THEN...

My friend gave me a hard copy of this book for Christmas, so I decided to also purchase a copy on audible so I could listen to it at work as well.
It had a bit of a slow start, BUT boy, when it picked up it really picked up. Joe Abercrombie paints a spectacularly vivid picture in your mind, listening to this book is like watching a movie in your head, a world filled with imaginative original characters, great fight scenes, and new places to explore. Anytime I was in the car this book was a go to, any time things got slow during the day I'd dive right back in to the world that is PERFECTLY narrated by Steven Pacey(with a unique and convincing voice for every character Pacey brings the world to life).
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre and who wants to get lost in a good book!
[Sub-point: There is a bit of cursing in the book, just a heads-up, honestly ...for those of you who are worried about it... the swearing wasn't excessive, and it didn't take away from the enjoyment of the book in any way... at least for me :)
