Forgiveness
Revisado: 02-01-25
The book was slow and drug out. I normally don’t want to stop listening to books, but I found myself kinda bored. I don’t know, but it also felt a little worldly sometimes. Almost like there was enough of God thrown into the story to make it a “Christian” book but enough suggestions to make it seem kinda worldly. I loved all the characters and you grow very attached to them, and it’s great on the forgiveness and healing in the Lord. But some of the stuff in between was just eh.

Sweet story but…
Revisado: 08-29-24
Sweet story, but a little too much detail about sexual abuse. Being that's it's audible, it was a little uncomfortable to listen to with family members passing by unexpectedly while I rush to turn it down. Being a Christian book, I was expecting it to be a little less in detail about these things. I know there are books out there with a whole lot worse in them, it was just a little more than I was comfortable with. The story in its entirety was beautiful and I loved the blooming friendship between Hudson and Sonny. The details of Charleston and the islands were spot on and it felt like you were there with the characters. Many times I found myself laughing and wanting to cry. Beautiful story of God repairing the broken in our lives and second chances. I just could had done without some of the abuse details.

Healing
Revisado: 08-23-24
This is an amazing book. It is graphic in the beginning and a little bit towards the end, so it would be a good idea not to listen with kids around or anyone that may be sensitive to it. It deals with abuse but doesn't leave you there. It’s about healing, understanding, compassion, and faith. A nice faith-filled romance. It will bring tears to your eyes! Tears of sadness and tears of joy! You absolutely fall in love with all the characters and you don’t want the book to end. But the ending is fabulous! If you need healing, this book is full of it. It warms the heart and heals the soul ❤️

Wonderful Decent Story
Revisado: 01-11-24
This book was wonderful. Most definitely one of my favorites. I loved the characters, and was sad when it ended! I liked how well the narrator switched so easily between characters, and she portrayed the characters well, although she made some of the characters sound extremely gruff. After a while it grew on me and became kinda comforting lol. But all in all, I loved this book! ❤️
