Historia
After her father loses the family fortune in an insider-trading scheme, single mom Parker Welles is faced with some hard decisions. First order of business: go to Gideon's Cove, Maine, to sell the only thing she now owns-a decrepit house in need of some serious flipping. When her father's wingman, James Cahill, asks to go with her, she's not thrilled . . . even if he is fairly gorgeous and knows his way around a toolbox.

Exceptional!

Honest, 3 dimensional characters, the story was both gritty and sweet. One of the best books I've listened to. I've listened to it twice already.

Historia
Blair Mallory, last seen in To Die For, has already survived one murder attempt. Now, while planning her wedding and dealing with holiday-season madness, Blair once again dodges a bullet. Or, more precisely, a Buick. And though the driver's identity remains a mystery, his or her murderous intentions are all too clear.

Another delicious story!
Revisado: 04-17-12
I hesitated to listen to this one, since the hero and heroine already experienced a "happy ever after" in the previous book (To Die For). I'm glad I listened anyway. Ms. Howard worked plenty of relationship tension and romance into the story with the requisite hot sex scenes. It wasn't all predictable, and the performance was great.

Very entertaining!
Revisado: 04-09-12
A quirky but emotionally believable heroine, a strong but vulnerable hero, a mixture of unexpected humor and sensitive feelings, all delivered by a great narration! This is not the first Rachel Gibson novel I've listened to, and it's definitely not my last.

Not Brockman's best
Revisado: 12-06-11
What could Suzanne Brockmann have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
This book needed much less agonizing over whether Bobby was letting his best friend down by his attraction to his friend's sister, and more on something, anything else. The conflict is a good starting point, but shouldn't be the middle and end as well. A little more action would have been nice too.
Any additional comments?
Having read most of Suzanne Brockmann's books, and thoroughly enjoyed many of them, I've got to say this is my least favorite.
