Historia
What is love? It's more scientific than you think. Through 10 lectures, Dr. Wind Goodfriend surveys the biology of interpersonal attraction, sexual preference and desire, and conflict resolution. You'll look at a variety of romantic notions, common myths, and love stereotypes through the lens of science in order to break them down and better set expectations when it comes to keeping a long-term relationship happy and healthy. You'll apply biology, psychology, and anthropology to that "spark" we feel when we are attracted to someone, to better understand what that feeling is.

Historia
When it comes to what we believe, humans see what they want to see. In other words, we have what Julia Galef calls a "soldier" mindset. From tribalism and wishful thinking, to rationalizing in our personal lives and everything in between, we are driven to defend the ideas we most want to believe - and shoot down those we don't.

Best book about grief I have read
Revisado: 08-23-18
This is an amazing resource. I highly recommend reading and sharing with friends. I lost a loved one suddenly to cancer and have been reading many books on grief and healing, this is one I will reread and recommend over and over.

Historia
"So many of us hold a deep belief that we were born unworthy," reflects Adyashanti, "inadequate, unlovable, and alone." But what if, in truth, we weren't put here to pay penance, change our karma, or "fix" ourselves? What if we chose to be here because we so loved the world that we poured ourselves into it - to make it whole again, to restore "the hidden divinity amid the disaster"? With Healing the Core Wound of Unworthiness, we're invited to entertain that possibility.

Love this book; I read this in conjunction with debt, the first 5,000 yearswhich helped me draw the connection between markets and feelings of unworthiness, moving beyond the scarcity model of worthiness.
