The narrator did a great job in depicting the various roles, and specifically that of Anna. I wish I had been taught more about women like her as I was growing up. it gives hope to the next generation that we can really make a difference. we put our minds to it and work together.

This book is another great example of the tragic history of the second world war and the atrocities that Nazi Germany imposed on Austria and the neighboring countries. Fortunately, in this instance, the rightful owners of the Gustav Klempt painting weren't able to prevail.

Alot of new characters were introduced, so I had to rewind if I got distracted, but the they brought it all together at the end. Looking forward to seeing Drizzit introduced in the next book!

It's so nice to be back with Drizzit and the original saga! In addition, I love Victor Bevines delivery of the series and the variety of inflections he lends to the voices for each of the characters.

Bring back Victor Bevine!

This is one of the ongoing Drizzt Do'Urden series, by Salvatore, that diverges from the story of Drizzt and his clan, and continues with the story lines of Jarlaxle and Entreri. The book introduces a new cast of characters that provide more insight into the lives of Jarlaxle and Entreri, but has little mention of Drizzt. The story itself is interesting, but unfortunately the narration is provided by "David Colacci", rather than "Victor Bevine". Did they ask Colacci if he had ever read, or been introduced to the series before asking him to be the narrator? His inability to correctly pronounce many of the characters names was very odd. Until he started to describe them, I didn't always know if he was describing an ongoing character or introducing a new one. Even his inability to differentiate (change the tone, inflection, etc.) between characters in a scene was confusing. I look forward to getting back to the series as narrated by Victor Bevine!

A Remarkable Woman

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this novel. She was more than an incredible actress. She had a brilliant mind that made a REAL impact in World War II and in our modern technology. Kudos Heddy!
