I’ve read the first 10 books and enjoyed them. However, this book was ruined by the sound effects in between chapters. There’s 100 something chapters and you have to listen to the same crap in between every single one of them every 2 1/2 to 5 minutes totally ridiculous.

The first five books were OK but this one is horrible. It was a ghost writer.

He spent hours of the book describing meaningless descriptions of things that weren’t gonna matter in the book. Some of the others are rated at four and fives but this one’s basically barely at two.

Hilariously, funny, great satire

Overall, the storyline was very good and the satire was spot on. Times at times the satire might’ve gone a little thick but overall, I still felt it was great.

Story was very detailed and descriptive so you could visualize exactly what was happening

I liked all of his descriptions and the intensity of the story. Every piece held my attention. I felt that the narrator was too intense a lot of the time. Every word he said he felt like he had to be intense over the top when many parts just weren’t thatintense and didn’t require the edge that he put on it. But overall, it was very good.

I've really enjoyed this series Elvis: Joe Pike however the past couple of books have lost their edge. This seems more like a book for teenagers than adult readers.. We'll see what comes next.

Funny, serious, satire, laugh out loud times overall just a great entertaining book.

I’m in mistake and put a review in the title however I loved all the characters. I love their distain for the powers that be showing in the underground. I felt it made fun of a lot of what’s happening in the world today. Sad but true. And this was written in 87.

The book did not tie up the loose ends. Basically you have to buy another book to get the rest of the story. Period.

horrible marriage fair story

I have read books 1 through four, and enjoyed them was a good rating. I've also read book 23 I believe I rated a four. This book is a three at best. The narrator is horrible' He sounds like he's reading a script, and tries to act through varying his accent, but he still just reading a script. The story is reasonable however Silva puts information into this one that is ridiculous and not worthy of being part of the story. I feel like he forced the story rather than let it flow. This was only seven hours of actual storyso we put a lot of extraneous information in to extend it to its nine hours and 46 minutes. Overall I think this is the worst one I have read by Daniel Silva.. I hope this is helpful.

The subject matter. Being the Vatican, as well as the way, it all played out.

I loved everything about this book. It did take a while to get used to the accent and his voice while delivering the narrative of the book. Overtime, however, I enjoyed it immensely. It made you feel it was so real that I was asking my son if this really happened. questions like, do you think the Vatican has a hit squad ? Do they hide all their dirty, laundry, and protect it even with death. Wonderfully done book.
