Historia
There are some things in this world that can't be stopped. Like progress, a moving train, and the American Dream. When the bigwigs in Washington decide to build a transcontinental railroad to the West Coast, they need a man who's just as unstoppable to clear a path through Mexican territory. That man is Jamie MacCallister. Jamie knows it's a tough job. The territory is overrun with Apaches. The Apaches are gunning for a fight. And the first patrol sent in by the president has already been ambushed, kidnapped, and most likely killed.

Historia
For the legendary mountain man Preacher, times are lean. Trapping is a thing of the past. Only a handful of men cling to the old ways, trading pelts to a market with little demand. Thus it is that Preacher, along with his old friends Three Sleeps Norris and Antoine Revier, grudgingly accepts a commission from the War Department to act as trail guide and scout for a regiment of Dragoons.

This book pushes boundaries… A bit creepy
Revisado: 04-12-24
I have enjoyed these graphic dramatizations including Luke Jensen and Frank Morgan. The writers of this book push the boundaries, they go a little to far on the pedo stuff. Why on earth would they play sound of pre-teen girl getting sexually assaulted. I don’t want to hear that, I don’t need to hear that and the writers did not have to put it in to get the point across.

Historia
Outlaws had smashed his life, left his wife dying, and carried off his son. Now all Frank Morgan wants is to hang up his guns and settle down in peace. But all that changes when he rides into the middle of a Montana range war, where a valley has been ripped apart by hatred and fears...and where his legend proves to be as dangerous as his gun. The blood of innocent men, women, and children has been shed. On one side is a small army of ranchers; on the other a stubborn band of farming families.

Great Story and Performance
Revisado: 03-30-24
This is the second series I have listened to. The first series. Luke Jensen was great. I only have one issue. The first was Frank Morgan’s dog, Wolf nearly killed and in this book animals were killed. I am an animal lover and it brings nothing to the story. I will say I love the characters and the stories. The performanaces are top notch. Please, just don’t kill anymore animals!!!

One of Michael’s Best
Revisado: 03-01-24
I am a Huge Harry Bosch fan, from the books, to the TV show. I think Michael was hitting on all cylinders when he wrote this book. It really reveals who Harry is. The story is all to familiar in today’s world. I purchased the audible version of this book and I could not stop listening. I did not want the book to end. The book shows all sides of Harry Bosch and after listening to this book, it makes you realize the world needs more Harry Bosch’s.

Titus Welliver is great
Revisado: 02-25-24
The story is ok, the performance makes up for a predictable story. I enjoy the books because I enjoy listening to Titus. Unfortunately the next 4 or 5 books in the series do not have Titus. I tried giving the next book a listen, but it is just not the same. Titus needs to redo the rest of the book!! And no… this is not Titus lol. Just a fan.

Defense attorney Mickey Haller is back, taking the long shot cases, where the chances of winning are one in a million. He agrees to represent a woman in prison for killing her husband, a sheriff’s deputy. Despite her conviction four years earlier, she still maintains her innocence. Haller enlists his half brother, retired LAPD Detective Harry Bosch, as investigator. Reviewing the case, Bosch sees something that doesn’t add up, and a sheriff’s department intent on bringing a quick search for justice in the killing of one of its own.

Narration is Great! (Spoiler Alert!)
Revisado: 11-08-23
I have read a couple of reviews that do not like the narration. If you cannot tell, Titus Welliver is in character when he is going through his treatment. Anyone that has been through cancer treatment, like myself can relate. Titus is great and he is 60 percent of why I pre-ordered this book. (Peter Giles 35 percent) I gave the narration a 5, the story a 4. The storyline is typical Hollywood and Connelly gives the readers the ending they want. Don’t get me wrong, I was hoping for the same outcome, but I knew the ending about 10 chapters in. I have to say something about Peter Giles. His narration is perfect. He is Mickey. Back to the storyline. All I can say is that there were no real surprises or suspense to the story. Bad cops, good lawyer up against arrogant state employees and a Federal Judge that comes around in the end. . Cannot forget the angry brother that has to threaten Mickey if he does not free his sister. The at risk son, if mom doesn’t get out of jail, the grandmother cannot keep him from the gang life. All of the element are there. Thank you Michael for bringing back Titus, Peter and Christine. They make an average book, a great book!! I recommend (for what its worth)

Historia
For all we know, or think we know, about Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, what we don’t know is far, far greater. In the duo’s first case, A Study in Scarlet, we learn that Holmes and Watson met on January 1st, 1881, and subsequently moved into an apartment together at 221b Baker Street. Their first case officially began on March 4th of that year, and it is argued that “The Adventure of the Resident Patient” possibly took place in October of 1881, depending on which version of the story you read. But what happened during the rest of 1881? Or all of 1882?

Very enjoyable stories
Revisado: 05-30-23
As a Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson fan, I found these stories on Audible and could not stop listening. The problem I have with most Sherlock Holmes stories is that the author writes stories how he or she thinks Sherlock Holmes should be. They do not stick with the winning formula that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle perfected nearly 140 years ago. When I listen to these stories I forget that these are “unpublished” Holmes and Watson tales. I hope you enjoy these titles as much as I have.
P.S. For the author or publisher. I notices that 3 titles are not available on Audible. I would hope you could come to an agreement that would allow the rest of the titles to be posted.
Respectfully,
Sherlock Fan

Good book, Great performance
Revisado: 05-16-23
I have been a Bosch fan since about book 12. I have since read every book. When Titus did the audio, I had to pick up those versions. Titus is laid back like I would expect Bosch to be. I hope he does the whole series.
