Good but couldn’t stand the narration

Probably would’ve listened longer if I didn’t just listen to a similar book right before this. But I couldn’t stand the editing of this narration. It’s like they edited out all the natural pauses after each sentence so the next sentence starts abruptly and it caught me off guard every time.

If you want to have a more realistic world view and your place in it, then I highly recommend it. This book has been extremely helpful in deprogramming my Christian upbringing.

Great for dads or kids

Amazing hero, wish it didn’t have to hurt his marriage

Chris Kyle was a true hero, but it came with a price in his marriage and family. I don’t agree that country comes before family like he does. Being there for your wife and kids and a huge service. Glad he was able to repair things after he got out. Inspiring courage and stories. Would love to hear what other people had to say about him, it seems like he downplays a lot of what he did and puts it down as luck.

I wish more icons would write memoirs instead of have biographies written about them. The level of deep personal insight is profound and inspirational. What an amazing story of success that came from result of hard work, grit, and luck. Highly recommend!

The profile of a great salesperson

I’ve read a lot of sales books and this is now my favorite. Grant paints the picture in real-life vivid detail of what it takes to be a great salesperson. Super inspirational and helpful!!!! “You gonna do this thing or are you gonna be a little ichbay?” Hahaha

This needed to be written

Most financial advisors would hate for you to read this because it puts them out of a job. This book has everything you need to know to be a smart investor and how and when to choose a financial advisor if you want one.

The last chapter is a beautiful compilation of everything Tony teaches about happiness boiled down. “The best of.” I’m going to be listening to this book again and this last chapter once a month for the rest of my life.

Tony is simply a powerfully good man and I’m very grateful for him.
