I loved the idea of the past being so perfectly interwoven into the present! If we don’t know our past, how can we understand our future? The strength and resilience of our ancestors, or their ancestry being told while they were trying to survive the plots around them were beautifully told. And each love story was laid out to follow! The clues like 3:03 , the best!

Loved the story line! The characters were really well developed and thought out. I loved the antagonism between the reporter and the social media reporter but I wanted more fight from them. I wanted her to fight for her man! She did but not until she got really mad! Great listen!

I found myself lost in another place and time. I was absorbed by the depths the writer took me in both characters and cultures even though some of the subjects were not easy to understand or accept. This was by far my favorite book in the series!!
