Historia
A leading light on the alternative and indie music scene for nearly 40 years, Jeff Tweedy is a master of the art in the artifice of songwriting. In this volume, Tweedy introduces listeners to the people, occasions, and frames of mind that have inspired but don’t necessarily populate the iconic songbooks of bands Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, and Tweedy.

Tweedy tells a few stories not in books. Cool to hear about pandemic sessions at home. Very enjoyable.

Historia
William Barr’s first tenure as attorney general under President George H.W. Bush was largely the result of chance, while his second tenure under President Donald Trump a deliberate and difficult choice. In this candid memoir, Barr takes listeners behind the scenes during seminal moments of the 1990s, from the LA riots to Pan Am 103 and Iran Contra. Thirty years later, Barr faced an unrelenting barrage of issues, such as Russiagate, the COVID outbreak, civil unrest, the impeachments, and the 2020 election fallout.

This book is literally AMAZING!!!
Revisado: 03-13-22
I’m a registered republican. I don’t write book reviews. It’s not a thing I do. This book however, requires praise. Everyone needs to read this book because I’m not aware of another autobiography that covers material we all witnessed firsthand, with such a distorted sense of reality.
It’s almost as though the author’s mother wrote this book about her beloved son that could do no wrong. The man certainly makes the case his actions were above reproach , but it’s hard to tell if he’s trying to convince the reader or himself.
Oh, and the chapters are titled very descriptively which helps a great deal. Who cares what Bill Barr’s Sigma Nu days were like??! Nobody.
Ghaad help us all.

Historia
Greg Donahue’s The Minuteman, tells the story of one of Newark’s native sons; ex-prizefighter and longtime Zwillman enforcer Sidney Abramowitz, a.k.a. Nat Arno, who took over leadership of the Minutemen in 1934 and made it his personal business to put an end to what he saw as the Bund’s “anti-American” activities. For six years, Arno and his crew of vigilantes battled Newark’s Nazis at every turn. The Minuteman is a story of the ethics of violence in the face of fascism; a forgotten legacy that is as relevant now as it was nearly a hundred years ago.

really get invested in the story. Maybe my fault but it just didn’t get my attention.
