I love most romance, but they meet, they fight love, they fall in love anyway, and live happily ever after does get old after a while. These characters fight hard FOR love instead of fighting their attraction. They struggle with distance, distractions, and finding their place in each other's lives when it would have been easier to give up. I can really recommend this book to anyone who loves some kinky romance.

Dark and delightful

Christian is not a nice man. We know this from the first book. Would the things he does in the book be ok in real life? No. Is the fantasy hot as h*ll? Absolutely. Shaun is the center of Christians focus. And, like it or not, Shaun orbits Christian. He's absolutely devoted to her safety to the point of horrific actions being undertaken without remorse. There is a scene of undeniable non-con, so be warned. The narrator's voices are an absolute delight to listen to. They bring the characters to life. Ultimately, there is love, hate, and violence in an easy to listen to package.

the best series

I love this series so much. I don't know why it was pulled or what happened to the books, but I'm so glad I have at least one of them on audio. If you were to ask me, the second book in the series is even better, but unobtainable. I miss reading it, but I had it in KU and never ended up buying it so it's gone. Rose painted feelings and emotions so beautifully. Rose, if you ever read this, I'll gladly pay for your books to add to my library.

Simon and Chris deliver

This is an excellent synopsis of a case where all peripherally aware of. The writer digs deep into facts and dispels ridiculous rumor. Simon, as always, delivers the material in a entertaining and captivating manner without marginalizing the suffering of the victims.

Fair MC romance

The story was, overall, sweet and nice, but the MC members have little respect for women which gets frustrating. The romantic main characters, Arrow and Anna, are hesitant to get together because of Anna's brother who is another member of the MC. Anna never wanted anything to do with the club lifestyle but was pretty much dragged into it by her brother. When feeling develop between her and a member, Anna's brother has fits. There's no respect for Anna as an adult. Lowly women don't question the high and mighty club members. Anna has to account for her actions and whereabouts 24/7 while her brother and boyfriend come and go as they please and basically say they don't owe an explanation for being gone. The love is sweet. The lack of respect is irritating. The narration is exceptional.

such a sweet amazing story

Parker is such a fantastic author and he can write such sweet romance. Lincoln is so strong and caring. Noel is beaten but not broken and he's stronger for his struggles. These guys have a beautiful chemistry you can feel through the words.
