really Nora? Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors, but this was so bad I didn't even finish! First the narrator has a lisp, second the story is terrible! The female lead is vapid and the male is such dork that there doesn't see to be any qualities that make a romance possible. The plot is boring as well, it seems like this wasn't even written by Nora, very disappointing.

..but it does not live up to expectations based on the first two in the series. The female lead is completely underdeveloped and the chemistry between characters is poor at best.

A cross between Karen Marie Moning and Stephanie Meyer. It was a fun scientific/historical view of vampires and witches, with lots of details. Sexy without being raunchy, great chemistry that leaves you wanting more. Quirky enough to be fun and fresh. The narrator was good. I'm sad that Harkness doesn't have more audiobooks, I can't wait for the next!
