Wonderful Love Story
Revisado: 02-06-21
I really enjoyed this story. It jumps in quickly to the romance, which made me wonder where the story was going to go. Typically, I don't see the lovers in books get together that quickly. However, their relationship road isn't without it's bumps. The challenges they have have more to do with obstacles within themselves. Narration was excellent. Kelley Huston did a great job of storytelling. *I was given a review promo code of this book in exchange for an honest review

Absorbing story with fantastic narration
Revisado: 06-03-19
I am an avid reader who listens to a lot of true crime and history podcasts. A skilled narrator is needed to transform a compelling tale into a successful entertaining listening experience. This audio book reminded me of listening to a well produced, well written, and expertly narrated podcast series!
Filled with fascinating facts. The author(s) deliver a steady paced story full of interesting, researched details. "Goodbye,MLO" is easy to follow and really hard to put down.
Without a doubt the story is enhanced by Kelley Huston's (the narrator) skilled and balanced story telling. Her speaking is well paced and her voice and style are very pleasing to listen to. Her reading has a journalistic style or feel with just the right amount of well acted dialogue and theatrical touches.
All in all, a great listen! (12 hours never went by so fast.) I was completely entertained.
I want to stress how quickly I will give up on an audio book in favor of a podcast or an e-book if the narrator is too slow or too fast. Poorly paced narration quickly frustrate sand disappoints when it ruins an otherwise great book. Too bland a narration and conversely an over-acted one I find incredibly distracting so I was THRILLED this story was delivered just right. I could not stop listening! I highly recommend this audiobook for any true crime fan looking for an intriguing story delivered and produced perfectly. Sound was A+
