Loved it!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Ordered this book on a whim before starting out on a 5 hour drive. Kept me in stitches and the made the drive seem like a drive to the market rather than a cross-state trek.
What did you like best about this story?
I keeeel you!! If you've seen/heard Achmed, you'll know what I mean. If not, buy the book and enjoy!
What does Jeff Dunham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The voices of the characters.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A look into the mind(s) of a (nearly) schizophrenic comedic ventriloquist.

Wow!
Revisado: 10-24-12
What did you love best about No Easy Day?
I really enjoyed this book. It begins as a fly-over journey of the events in one SEAL's life as they eventually lead him to a part in the raid on Bin Laden's compound. While there isn't much in the book that wasn't already reported in the media, it does a great job of putting the raid (and lead-up) into a first person account that drew me in and kept me listening.
What other book might you compare No Easy Day to and why?
Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell. Lone Survivor is another good look at the inside workings of a SEAL's mindset, courage and determination.
What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?
I didn't realize that it wasn't the author reading the book until just now.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definitely.

The New York Times best-selling novel from Garth Stein - a heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope - a captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life...as only a dog could tell it.

A fun read.

I've always thought of myself as a bit dog-like and now I know why. The book was well written, witty, and the story was told from a unique perspective that I enjoyed thoroughly.
If you enjoy good story telling, you can't go wrong with this book.

If it seems like you work hard but never get anywhere, maybe the problem is something within you. Maybe the limitations holding you back come from inside you, not from the outside world. Zero Limits presents a proven way to break through those self-imposed limitations to achieve more in life than you ever dreamed.

While the stories were interesting, it became clear that the book was turning out to be was just that... a collection of stories. Anecdotes interwoven with varied pitches to go to web-sites, sign up for weekend seminars etc. are not what I consider to be helpful.
A short summation of the process is finally described with approximately 35 minutes left and the full process is never fully revealed in the book due to "a confidentiality agreement" with the "Dr." often referenced in this book. You'll have to buy the weekend seminar that he pitches to actually get the mechanics of "Zero Limits".
I too would return this book if I could. I'm disappointed that what I purchased was a marketing brochure. It was not at all what was expected.

The story line was fun to follow, but the ending was weak. Based on the hero's actions through the book, I was expecting a more imaginative solution to the last confrontation on his part.
I am looking forward to the next book though. I'd like to see if the villian really is...

Though this book didn't live up to expectations, I did enjoy the story. I felt the Left Behind series is much better. If you enjoy a good adventure/historical mystery/comic book with semi-believable characters, you'll enjoy this one.
To assist in your enjoyment you'll need to either skip LaHaye's intro, or disregard his description of the story's hero. He calls the hero someone who "faces many of the challenges of our day. Many that are familiar to all of us." You'd only be familiar with those challenges if your name was Indiana Jones.
