Historia
Nearly 100 years before the events of Orson Scott Card's bestselling novel Ender's Game, humans were just beginning to step off Earth and out into the Solar System. A thin web of ships in both asteroid belts; a few stations; a corporate settlement on Luna. No one had seen any sign of other space-faring races; everyone expected that First Contact, if it came, would happen in the future, in the empty reaches between the stars. Then a young navigator on a distant mining ship saw something moving too fast, heading directly for our sun.

Historia
Bean's past was a battle just to survive. He first appeared on the streets of Rotterdam, a tiny child with a mind leagues beyond anyone else. He knew he could not survive through strength; he used his tactical genius to gain acceptance into a children's gang, and then to help make that gang a template for success for all the others. He civilized them, and lived to grow older. Then he was discovered by the recruiters for the Battle School.

Get better as they go
Revisado: 02-17-16
Ive been listening to these books in the order they were printed and the series just keeps getting better and better. At first I didnt know if I would enjoy the story without Ender in it, especially if it focused on Peter, but Scott makes you live all his characters. Powerful ending to the current set of books. I will miss these characters greatly. Sad the ride is over, but wouldnt want to miss it for anything. Dont miss this one!!!

Historia
The office of the public defender is not known as a training ground for bright young litigators. Clay Carter has been there too long and, like most of his colleagues, dreams of a better job in a real firm. When he reluctantly takes the case of a young man charged with a random street killing, he assumes it is just another of the many senseless murders that hit DC every week. As he digs into the background of his client, Clay stumbles on a conspiracy too horrible to believe.

It'll suit ya.
Revisado: 03-29-03
Not as good as "The Partner" but a fun listen. Michael Beck is as usual, brilliant! Some great characters season a fairly predictable pot of plot. You can't help but get caught up in the excitement of the main characters circumstance. The most difficult part of the experience is deciding whether you want to be a lawyer or shoot one.

Have lots of time to kill
Revisado: 03-29-03
This book needs to be listened to on a long trip. I enjoyed the story and the characters. It is hard to follow if you listen, like I did, in a lot of shorter sessions. The intricacies and twists would be easier to follow if listened to in bigger chunks. Still well worth the listen. Very good narration.

Best partner I ever had.
Revisado: 02-08-03
This puppy grabs you from the get-go and never ever lets go. The story has more twists and turns than a 50's junior high sock hop. A great story blended with a variety of engaging characters. Bizarre but believable. Every time you think you have it figured out Grisham ties another knot in your brain. Had me going the whole way. A must read.
