Life for Roz and the animals on their island is perfect. But when mysterious, dangerous waters surround the island, the animals are forced inland to fight over dwindling resources. Roz calms and organizes the animals, but the poison tide takes a terrible toll on the island. So the wild robot sets out across the ocean, determined to stop the poison tide. During her journey, Roz encounters amazing geological formations and incredible creatures, and she sees the devastation caused by the toxic waters. Can the wild robot save the ocean and her island and everything she loves?

When robot Roz opens her eyes for the first time, she discovers that she is alone on a remote, wild island. Why is she there? Where did she come from? And, most important, how will she survive in her harsh surroundings? Roz's only hope is to learn from the island's hostile animal inhabitants. When she tries to care for an orphaned gosling, the other animals finally decide to help, and the island starts to feel like home. Until one day, the robot's mysterious past comes back to haunt her....

Sooz, a 13-year-old girl from Surrey, has become the Dark Mistress of Dirk's otherworldly kingdom, the Darklands. Thanks to the Ring of Power given to her by Dirk, his minions recognize her as their ruler. Sooz immediately sets about redecorating Dirk's Dark Tower to the taste of a young girl. But Sooz has to face her toughest challenge when an army of fanatical paladins and orcs gather to march against her.

Dirk Lloyd has a dark secret. He is the earthly incarnation of a Dark Lord, supreme ruler of the Darklands and leader of armies of orcs and warriors intent on destruction. Following a final battle between the forces of good and evil, the Dark Lord was defeated and hurled into the Pit of Uttermost Despair. At the bottom of the Pit is a supermarket car park in the town of Whiteshields, in modern day England. When he is found, and tries to explain that he is the Dark Lord, people think he means Dirk Lloyd.
