My mind was blown in the beginning with the actual definition of “integrity”. The story parable and the lessons throughout are easy to listen to, connect with, and absorb.

If you’re wondering what it truly means to be “you” out how you could possibly live a life of “you” then this book is for YOU.

The book is written in a mostly timeless way with great examples of the lessons. I do think this should be required reading in the business community.

The reading of the book sounds a little robotic and is a bit slow. I just used a speed of 1.2 (and I could’ve gone a little faster) and it sounded better.

I love how the authors go back and forth with reading the content. It helps keep you engaged. The advice that they share is both tactical and timeless (even post-Covid).

Overall the book is good. It’s written in a conversational way that makes understanding it easy. The lady reading it sounds a bit robotic which gets annoying. I found if you speed up the audio a bit she sounds more human and it’s easier to listen to. I do recommend the book of you are even remotely interested in Buddhism.

The content is great but there are constant references to charts and diagrams and models that are next to impossible to visualize and remember.

The content is also written very much like a thesis (for all I know it is) so it’s a heavy listen. The guy reading it sounds one step above a robot which doesn’t help. You can tell he tries to add personality but it falls flat.

I do recommend the book. The author makes great points and his framework does make sense (as best as I was able to visualize). Just know that it’s a book to study not a casual book.

I’ve been following here for years and love how conversational and thoroughly she covers her topics. I really hope she does a second edition of this book post-Trump.

This sounds like it’s from the 90s and is nothing more than someone saying something positive and then it being echoed. How this has anything higher than 3 stars is beyond me.

The author does a good job of sharing a variety of financial advice specifically around values-based financial management.

Where in my opinion it falls short, is that it’s nothing you don’t get from any other book. She occasional nuggets that are interesting but not worth the whole book. Personally, if it was a traditional book, I wouldn’t have finished it.

My personal favorite money books currently are Profit Now (aimed at business owners) and Its Not Your Money by Tosha Silver.
