I loved this book
Revisado: 03-13-25
Having the two narrators, male and female was nice... and they both did a great job. The story line was good as well with a bit of history at each chapter, a nice touch... I had my guesses to who the "bad guy" was but I was hopping from one character to another with guesses. Can't wait for the next one

Lotti has come a long way since finding love with Alasdair and uncovering her true origins as a Star Person. She has embraced the magic she once shunned—as well as the label of Destroyer by her own. It has made her powerful, but will it be enough to stand against her family as they target the Dragon Kings?

Good continuation of Dragon Arisen
Revisado: 01-21-25
The story line was very good and building up to a big finish. HOWEVER, I do NOT like having two narrators reading every other chapter. Your characters accents and tones are changing between the two narrators. Stick to just one narrator or if you really want the female narrator, have her JUST read the female parts. Antony F does a great job and has been your narrator for this whole dragon series. Carmen R narrates like she is reading a book with a pause at each line, like she is taking a breath. Very distracting.
But I'm moving on to the next book in the series as the stories are good.

Historia
Sexy. Mysterious. Dangerous. He’s an immortal Dragon King bound by ancient rules and eternal magic. Cullen has one objective: find and destroy the evil that threatens the new home of the dragons. Just when he’s closing in, he’s ambushed and finds a stunning warrior woman fighting alongside him. No amount of magic could prepare him for the beguiling lass who spurns his advances and defies him.

Good Story, Awful Performance
Revisado: 01-08-25
I'm not sure I understand the whole following of these 1001 Dark Night Books. But this is the second in this series... This one had a decent story line. But having the female narrator added to read every other chapter was painful to listen to a times. You have Antony Ferguson reading Cullen with his masculine sexy voice and then the next chapter you have Keira Stevens reading Cullen's part and it is like the guy has no authority in his voice. Cullen is suppose to be a Dragon King not some wimpy Scotsman.

This story was OK
Revisado: 01-08-25
I have to say that this story was OK... by far not my favor it. Antony Ferguson did a great job as always bringing the story to life. I have to say I did not care much for Lotti character. I found her weak compared to other heroines in previous books.

Historia
The capture of a Dragon King is cause for celebration. Jeyra never dreamed she would actually face one of the creatures who destroyed her home. But the longer she’s around him, the more she finds herself gravitating to him. All it takes is one reckless kiss that unleashes desires and the truth that has been hidden from her to set them both on a course that could be the end of them.

It was OK
Revisado: 12-17-24
At first I was a bit confused and wasn't sure I was even in the right book. This book was slow and a bit boring all the way up to chapter 17, we never left the prison. It did pickup and get interesting after that. This was a short book, only 26 chapters. The end of the book did lay the ground work for the series. I'm hoping that the next book is better. As for the narrator, Antony Ferguson, he was great as always.

As lovely as she is infuriating, the daughter of Chieftain Greyloch barely gives him a passing glance. When she does, it's only to tell him he smells more like a horse than a Highlander. Story line was a little lacking
Revisado: 08-15-23
I was a little disappointed in the story line. It just really did not have that much excitement for me. Cullen holding on as chief. A women who can't remember who she is. Two uncles who want to be in charge... Yep, this one was not one I wanted to rush to the end to see what happened.... But I'm reading the new two books... The first one, The Beast of Aros Castle was great
