I LOVE this book. It raises my vibration just by listening to it. It's also soooo dense that I feel like it's the kind of book you have to keep re-listening to, to be able to absorb all the info.. But it's so incredibly fascinating and inspiring. It makes me feel so empowered that I can change every single area of my life. Listen to this book, as it explains Law of Attraction in VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND terms. I totally love it.

Historia
On this unabridged audiobook Stuart Wilde explains that the Force is a part of each and every thing in the physical plane. This includes our planet, the stars and galaxies, and the physical universe...as it stretches out into space, beyond our perception. By its very nature the Force is immortal and never-ending. Because it is the inner light or "livingness" within all things, we call it universal.

Masterful. Typical Stuart.
Revisado: 06-14-20
Stuart Wilde is my favorite spiritual author of all time. He is a shaman in a comical and quirky Englishman’s body. This is a timeless classic to which I will listen over and over. Brilliance in every way.

Painful to get through
Revisado: 05-10-20
While I enjoyed maybe the first few chapters or so, the book felt redundant and I’d learned most of this before in other finance books. I did enjoy the antiquated style of language but the subject matter was not compelling enough for me to say I thoroughly enjoyed the listen. The narrator was top notch however.
Not sure I’d recommend this for anyone just getting interested in finance. Definitely start with Robert Kiyosaki and Dave Ramsey. They are two great places to start.

Historia
Peter Mayle and his wife had been to Provence as tourists. They had dreamed of one day trading the long, grey winters and damp summers of England for the blue skies and sunshine of the coast of southern France. And then they made it happen. They moved into an old farmhouse at the foot of the Luberon mountains and embarked on a wonderful, if at times bewildering, new life.

Masterpiece. I'm booking my tickets to Provence!
Revisado: 02-14-20
Peter Mayle is one of my all-time favorite writers, AND, one of life's greatest pleasures is hearing him narrate this amazing novel. I honestly, after reading this book, am planning a trip to Provence this spring, and will be sure to go through the printed version to take note of each and every town, restaurant, bakery, etc he mentions.
His writing is so incredibly playful, funny, witty, and colorful. He is a huge inspiration to me. He makes me fall in love with the French countryside all over again (I spent a lot of time there as a child.) I just love this book, and love this writer. I can't wait to make my way through the rest of the Peter Mayle collection. Bravo for this masterpiece, Monsieur Peter!

I am still enjoying this book and the story of our protagonist Roxy. The story piques my interest and I particularly enjoy the lovely soothing voice of the narrator who flows into all the various characters with ease. I often can't make it through Audible books when I can't connect to the narrator, so thankfully Mr. Weitzel's voice does the story great justice!

Historia
Some call it the zest, the gusto, or the extra edge in life. The ancient Indian spiritual tradition Vedanta calls it prana, or life force. We can call it vital force. In modern life, we have forgotten the golden key - the higher our energy, the better our performance in everything we do. Energy naturally impacts mind-set and moves us toward greater happiness, success, and self-awareness. This book gives you back your power with simple tools to take hold of the limitless energy of life itself - more swiftly and easily than you ever thought possible.

5 stars for R. Patel, yet 2 books rolled into one
Revisado: 01-29-20
First off I’d like to give Ms. Patel five stars! Her wisdom is life-changing and immeasurable. I am very happy to know about her now and will follow her immensely. I feel blessed to live in LA where she will hopefully continue to teach classes and workshops.
I feel grateful for her jaw dropping nuggets of gold she drops in this book.
Her delivery is smooth and soothing, like a very wise aunt from India. It’s hilarious when she drops into profanity now and then; it doesn’t sound in character for her but it’s refreshingly real.
About the book, I picked it up to learn about BREATH WORK AND VEDIC MEDITATION. I wanted to be inspired to change my life through the introduction of daily breathing practices. Ms. Patel has certainly convinced me to make this move towards breath work. However, I very strongly feel like this was two books rolled into one. There were many instances throughout that felt very long winded, going into too much explanation for what seemed off topic.
The first half of the book more or less discusses the breath, yoga and the mind. I found all of this fascinating, though chapters 3 and 4 go into too much detail about the different parts of brain and mind and could have been condensed into one or two pages.
The second half of the book goes into... everything else related to creating a better life for yourself. It discusses mindset, acceptance versus resistance, daily practices, and sooo much more. I feel like this book takes on too much all at once. I would have enjoyed this book much more if it stuck just to breath work and meditation.
I didn’t need to understand in so much detail the different sections of the mind and brain, Big Bang theory, protons versus neutrons versus electrons, Newton versus Einstein, and on and on.
I recommend reading the book versus listening on Audible, because then you can benefit from the AMAZING wisdom throughout and skim through the parts that go into too much detail.
Lastly I disagree with some of the negative reviews that claim Ms. Patel is shamelessly promoting her online workshops throughout. I did not feel this one bit. In fact she very clearly states that you cannot really teach the breathing techniques in a book.
I feel like you will gain incredible benefit with this book, yet READ, SKIM AS NEEDED and don’t listen. :)

Diamonds in the Rough
Revisado: 05-20-18
This book reads like a spoken story, passed along from grandfather to grandson. It is not particularly literary in any way, and borders on very cheesy in much of its writing. However, there are golden little GEMS of wisdom throughout. As someone who has been studying and reading self help books for the last fifteen years, I would say that there are some fresh and inspiring techniques in this book, i.e. the Book of Dreams, The Heart of the Rose and more.
It has inspired me and I do intend to sift through it again to make some notes with which I can apply to life. Overall it's definitely worth a listen. Oh, and the real "wisdom" of the story (where we start to learn the Wisdom of the Sages of Savanna), starts about two hours in. The first two hours is backstory.
Enjoy!
