Dad jokes+coffee= a good time.

This novel had me laughing for a hours, reading it straight in one sitting. The audible addition made it even better, as I was able to finish it in the same day.
Presenting us a young man without much of a direction in life as the main character, it subverts the system (gameLit) genre plagued by forced deus ex-Machinas without any fear of making fun of itself.
There was great attention to details in the crafts it spoke about (coffee), and a great cast of lovely and relatable characters.
Overall, it's well worth a listen for the low price of a coffee.

Historia
Entering the world of Fate Online, all Eric wants to do is level up as quickly as possible. After all, with millions of dollars on the line, aiming for the top is a given, right? However, Fate is not the ordinary game that Eric and his friends think it is. Fighting enormous wolves, being yelled at by crotchety old militia captains, and becoming embroiled in a deadly feud with other players are all considered part of a normal day in Fate.

Slow start, good developments.

Fate is not the average litrpg in the sense that it is not a power fest. It's a much more casual approach to a VRMMO, with friends learning together about the unknowns of a newly released game.
In that sense, this book works as an introduction to a much vaster world — one with its own lore, beliefs, and a very well crafted magic system.
I'll be waiting for the next installment in its audiobook form.
