Amazing story and world building

First off, I listened to this amazing story on Audible. I almost had to stop due to the narrator’s mouth noises, apparently she had a cold during recording the first 9 or so chapters and it was hard to listen to. It did get much better though and I’m glad I stuck with it. The world building and incredible story drew me in from the first chapter and kept me enthralled until the last! I can’t wait until book 2! I haven’t read/listened to an epic fantasy I’ve enjoyed this much in quite a while!

When something horrible happens to you, you can either let it break you, or you can let the scars reinforce you like armor! I love the message of survival and that this story weaves along with the hot AF love story! The Bordeaux’s did an amazing job on the narration, as always!

Trying to catch my breath

This is my first review ever.
First of all this series wrecked me and then restored me! The roller coaster of emotions that I experienced while listening to this amazing story still has my throat tight with tears and joy as I write this. The narrator was absolutely perfect in portraying the depth of emotion the characters felt throughout their struggles and triumphs. I definitely place this series in my top 5 (and I read A LOT)!
