Historia
Dani Carrigan has always relied on logic when making important life decisions, but when she discovers she's pregnant - and that there's a chance her baby may be born "not perfect" - logic lets her down. It would help if the baby's father would pop the question, but widowed father Adrian seems more interested in protecting his six-year-old daughter than committing to his new relationship with Dani.

Wasn’t a romance or family story. Dani didn’t connect with Adrian or her sisters.
Revisado: 10-29-23
Didn’t care for this book. Elliot was interesting but Dani wasn’t. All the angst with Adrian and the baby was unbelievable when she had lots of friends and family to help her.
Also her voice was a man’s voice through the whole book.

Enjoyed reading the book years ago. When I saw this was narrated by Rosalind Landor I bought it. She does all the voices so well that I get immersed in the story. I like Sara and Derick and the other characters that were so easy to like or hate! Interesting with a few twists and turns.

Great talent in narration made this production a real treat for me.
Revisado: 10-01-23
I’ve listened to these stories many times and enjoyed many different narrators. For me this production was magical. These super talents just drew me into the stories because they sound like Sherlock and Dr. Watson always sounded in my head.
The uneven volume was unfortunate.

I enjoyed this book very much. The story and new characters were very well done.
The narration was excellent. I actually thought I was hearing different people speaking, the characters voices were so differentiated.
Looking forward to the next book.

True, the stubborn blonde was giving him the cold shoulder, but Joe hadn't become the best of the best by giving up. Then he discovered someone on the inside was sabotaging Night Wing, and with her late hours and specialized expertise, Caroline seemed the obvious choice.

Revisado: 06-21-23
A slow start, didn’t like heroine very much. I liked hero since I’m a sucker for bad boys. It’s different from her America books. I just read another series set in Italy so understood the differences in cultures somewhat. Loved the narration.

Almost gave up after first chapter…..
Revisado: 05-11-23
Voices of some characters were so disgusting (to my ear) to begin with I turned it off.
Picked back up and got hooked into the characters and story. The mystery kept me guessing, thought the “romance” between the sergeants way to soon. I do want to read next book.
