Story weak

The performance of this audiobook was fairly good.
The story was very weak with a very weak in the end of all of the Nero Wolfe books written this is probably my least favorite.

A story so full of potential.

This story had such potential! But it droned on until ****spoiler alert**** the antagonist that is devilishly clever just quits and kill’s himself. I think that an daring escape plot with lots of twists and turns could have made this story end with a bang. But I am sure that all the extra story means extra pages which costs the publisher more $$$. If I had to guess the author was told to cut 100 pages and the story got a flat ending. I would like to see the unedited manuscript of Mr Grisham - I bet that story is better than the one I just consumed.

A great story. Some of the language used for the Chinese could be taken as offensive but I don’t believe it was intended as such.
I loved the conclusion.

A great King book

I would read a grocery list written by Stephen King. There are some stories that are more fun to listen to than others. This was one of the “fun ones”. The ending seemed a bit forced and foreshadowed however I did enjoy the book.

A DIVERSE EPIC... Not for prudes, but not erotica.

A good story that could have been great.

Being a fan of post apocalyptic literature I saw this story and was very anxious to experience the story.
The core idea of a virus causing a pandemic was well executed but was interlaced with vivid sexuality of both heterosexual and homosexual that distracted from the story.
And while I am sure Mr Kennedy was attempting to use this as a plot device for character development I found it rather distracting from the survival aspect of the characters.
I very much enjoyed the survival story and Mr Kennedy did a great job of moving the plot along in terms of planning and moving the characters in the destroyed town of Memphis and the surrounding areas.
