Overhyped book, but good

I liked the book itself just fine, I think it was probably overhyped and it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I liked how the narration would switch to a male voice when a male character was speaking, but I honestly found the female narrator's voice annoying... a little too breathy? I wish I'd previewed it before buying (I usually do)- I would have opted to read it instead of listening.

Good, but not as good as built up to be

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as amazing as people (TikTok) built it up to be. The audio was really good to listen to although I had a hard time following some of the nuances of the powers/oracle, but maybe it's just because I wasn't actually reading. Writing was a little cliche, but overall enjoyable.
