The reader does a great job with his vocal performance of each character, it really helps them come to life. The story is written very well it is placed in the black hills of South Dakota during Sturgis, great background for the story line to unfold, several very fun new characters are introduced and surprising twist kept the listener engaged and entertained.

Historia
He was a tough enforcer for a New York gang. But when young Tom Shanaghy made one too many enemies, he skipped town on a fast-moving freight. He landed in a small Kansas town that had big dreams, no name, and the need for an honest lawman. Tom figured that a knuckle-and-skull man from Five Points would be perfect for the job. He didn't know that a high-stakes cattle drive was headed his way and that leading it was a vindictive rancher bent on settling an old score.

Good storyline
Revisado: 09-10-24
Good story of a gun hand who has a good heart, interesting and fun to follow. Don’t like it when it gets a bit burial in the killing, but it more mellow than some of the other books I have read from the same author. Overall I would recommend it .

Historia
They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. But old cowboys? That’s a different story—especially when those cowboys are trail-hardened cattlemen like Casey Tubbs and Levi Doolin. When these longtime buddies learn that their bosses are getting out of the beef business, they figure it’s probably time to retire anyway. Nothing left to do now but deliver the last two-thousand cows to Albilene and collect their pay. There’s just one problem. Their bosses’ lawyer is skipping town with all the workers’ cash—which means Tubbs and Doolin have one last job to do...

Historia
It's the kind of job Luke Jensen hates. A millionaire mine owner is willing to pay $5,000 to the man who captures the half-breed outlaw Tom Eagle. Normally, Luke would turn down an offer like this-it smacks too much of being a hired gun. But when the millionaire tells him that Eagle is responsible for killing his son, Luke agrees to take on the job. Which means he'll have to take the road to hell itself - a.k.a. Hard Rock, Montana. Hard Rock is supposed to be a ghost town. But when Luke arrives, the ghosts are alive and well - and gunning for his hide.

Go pod details
Revisado: 04-27-24
Great details. Reader is good , writing has lots of action, story is fast paced. It does have a little bit of gore so be aware of that. Fun western to listen to with some nice twist and turns, liked the part with the dogs, until the dogs had to die.
