Historia
In his second memoir, a true crime story, David Alan Arnold takes us on a life and death adventure in his helicopter as an aerial cameraman for Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch. He also gets into adventures at home, when he picks a fight with an organized crime ring that took over a school bus stop. David's town has so few residents that good people are afraid to speak about the crimes, for fear of reprisal.

David Alan Arnold (Emmy award cinematographer for shows such as the Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers, etc, and for NFL Games) tells another amazing story. in his first book, he told about his life, and life as a cinematographer; in this book he tells about a crime happening in his own neighborhood. Also, this story shows further how humble, helpfu and caring he is.

Amazing Book! Amazing insight to this amazing man
Revisado: 11-11-20
As a fan of Deadliest Catch, I was amazed when I came across the camera man for the show (David Alan Arnold) on Tik Tok. I followed him and have been seeing his posts for quite some time. Then when he said he had a book, you better believe I would look for it here on Audible.
The book is amazing. It is a great history of how David became the amazing camera man he is now. As a reader, I felt honored that he shared his life struggles, and of course his life celebrations. He is the epitome of how a person can over come life struggles and still end up on top.
I enjoyed his stories about flying; especially the close calls that he was involved in when on board the helicopter. I especially enjoyed (I say enjoy because it was a happy ending) the story about being caught in a storm, and having the boat captain legend Sig Hansen help point the direction back to shore. That’s what makes Sig a legend, because he will help everyone who needs it.
David, thank you for writing this book; and as I said on Tik Tok, Thank you for sharing stories about Gibbs. He may have been tough on you, but he cared about you and being tough and giving you a hard time was his way of showing he cared. By sharing stories about him, you have forever memorialized him, and the amazing man he was!

Great Story, Kept me on the edge of my seat
Revisado: 06-28-18
I bought this thinking at first it was a biography/documentary type book but, then realized quickly it is a fiction story based on non-fiction thoughts that would be going thru a president's mind during the story's events. Seeing that Clinton was our president at one time, he uses this story to enlighten us readers about things that a president goes thru (especially behind the scenes and with classified issues) that we all may bash them for because we do not understand the whole situation. Example how in the book, the major plots going on were all under classified circumstances, but since the media (and congress) was unaware, all they saw was the one incident that they were all gung ho about impeaching the president immediately for.
This book does bring into the plot some current events issues such as Russian interference and so on.The very end of this book was interesting because President Clinton steps into the book and takes over the book's president's words and makes a speech to the American people about the true current events happening in America. Talks about his feelings about the Russian meddling, and other things. It was an interesting way to end the book.

Why we think it’s a great listen: There’s no gentle way to put this – Frank McCourt’s performance of Angela’s Ashes is just better than the Pulitzer Prize-winning book. Frank McCourt shares his sometimes heartwarming, sometimes heartbreaking story of growing up poor, Irish, and Catholic in the Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir Angela's Ashes.

This book is amazing. It was recommended by a college English professor of over 20 years teaching who told me this is a required reading in her class; I was not disappointed. Frank is an amazing writer and especially an amazing narrator. He kept me wanting to hear more. I listened to all his books.

Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

Loved the book! Makes me like her even more
Revisado: 12-17-17
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I have liked Anna for some time as she is an amazing actress and seemed like a good person too. After listening to this book, I learned a lot about her, including how she knows she is a celebrity but hasn’t become a stuck up one as she says herself she still hasn’t got the idea that she is one. I like her down to earth, “I’m just a regular person” attitude. Too many times people become celebrities and it goes to their heads. I have listened to this book 3 times and I know it won’t be the last time.

A Must read!
Revisado: 07-15-17
I loved this book. I know the ultimate ending is sad but the whole theme and idea that Morrie had with his life and life in general is important. This book really made me think about life, the importance of doing things for others, and the fact the only reason to things for others is to see joy on their faces. I personally have always been a person that does not expect anything in return; I just like seeing people happy.

I listened to this book as I have started listening to classics that back in High School English teachers kept pushing but I never read. I was not disappointed with this book. It is no wonder why the author is such a respected author. This book kept me on the edge at all times making me wondering what is going to happen next. I actually am sad that the story had to end.

Loved it! Different take on the Wicked Witch.
Revisado: 09-23-16
I have heard about the play and as a kid always loved the Wizard of Oz. I like the different take on the whole story. At the end, I actually was sad that she died. She got so crazed because of the wizard and the rumors. This take made me actually think of her as a good souled person (even though she kept saying she didn't have one) but was born to a bad situation.

Revisado: 06-17-16
I chose this book on a recommendation from a professor of one of my business classes. He said it is a very intelligent book and describes a lot about the way people view money. He said that it is a must read. This comes from a professor with almost 40 years of being in the business field all the way from owning his own business to being in international business trade, and the list goes on.
