Presenting has to be one of the most nerve-racking things that we have to deal with in life. The thought of having everyone’s eyes on us as we stand before them, bare and ready to be judged, is something that most people fear. By listening to this book, you will find that there are many ways in which you can relieve that stress and become confident in yourself. You will learn how to take a room by storm and keep the audience engaged, hanging on to your every word until the very end. Are you ready to take the stage by storm? Then look no further than The Presenter’s Dilemma.

This was a well written, easy to read book that was written and backed by recent research. The author offered a solid foundation early on about the physiological breakdown of what happens as a presenter is getting read to speak and the fact that anxiety and nervousness is okay and normal even for the most seasoned presenter. This is a great book for presenters of all age and audience level. The chapters are broken down into bite-sized pieces that are easy to understand and implement. Whether you are a high schooler in public speaking class or paid presenter speaking in front of a ballroom full of conference attendees this book offers tricks of the trade to help keep audience members engaged. The book offers you a chance to make each presentation your own while offering a simple checklist along a timeline from the weeks before the presentation until the standing ovation at the end! I enjoyed how the author encouraged readers to try tips and ideas that may challenge the way they do it now and how important it is to continue to develop as a presenter no matter the group you are in front of.
