Story was great

The author did a great job on this book and the first one now I have to finish the series. However it has been difficult because of narration. The narration of the first book in this series was great and spoiled me. However, the narrator of this book ugh. Now I have to listen to the next one with disappointment still trying to decide if I want to spend money to listen thru another book with the same narrator. Again ugh…….

I tried so hard to listen to this book but, could not get past the female narration. It may be because I’m am nearly death and wear hearing aids. Buts could do it. So sadly I didn’t get to finish this book. I have a daughter in law and a son in law both are Spanish and both know and speak English and Spanish but neither sound like that. It was very ear wrenching

It’s a narration not a news cast. Her voice is nice to her reading is so fake and doesn’t go with the story. I apologize for an ugly review and I listen to many books. But It’s not often when I can’t listen because the narrator sounds like nails on a chalkboard. The male narrator was better but not a Teddy Hamilton.I can’t rate the story because I can’t listen to it. Ugh.

Loved the dog, I want a marshmallow, Teddy Hamilton did a stand up performance as usual. The female narrator did good for the older characters however not so much on the younger ones.
