I learned so much about things I never thought to ask about. Highly recommend for anyone that fears or thinks about death.

The narration and the story are excellent and compelling. Barbara Kingsolver is a gifted storyteller and I believed I was reading someone’s memoir. It took me a while to get thru the first 1/2 because it’s a tough story but I am so glad that I did.

This painful history is beautifully told by this gifted writer and narrator. There are lessons about human suffering and endurance, cruelty and hope, all facets of humanity and inhumanity

I’m not a royal follower and have missed all the interviews and shows but curiosity got me on the book and I was surprised that I was interested in the story throughout the book. Also surprised that I liked Harry. I’m not royalty but found his struggles relatable. Glad he got therapy. And a good woman.

It was ok. Not my usual style of book. Narration was excellent but the story was not great for me

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I read the book first but really enjoy listening to DS read his work. This is a good addition to my library.

Would you recommend Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls to your friends? Why or why not?

Probably not. I'd recommend his other stuff much more highly. This book is a little dark.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narration did not need improvement IMO.

Was Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls worth the listening time?

I could have skipped this one but I'm glad I gave it a chance.

What did you love best about In Sync with the Opposite Sex?

I'm such a fan of Alison's work that I felt compelled to write a review. I've listened to all of her materials and this is my favorite. Wherever you are in your relationships, dating or married or maybe given up, Alison offers insights that are profoundly impactful and that just might make you laugh out loud when you see how silly men and women can be. I laugh frequently when I listen to this recording and always get something out of it. I can't recommend it enough.

What was one of the most memorable moments of In Sync with the Opposite Sex?

There is a moment where one of the male participants asks Alison about overpowering chemistry. Their back and forth, especially when he remembers he's being recorded, is delightful and reveals quite a lot about the power of chemistry.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from In Sync with the Opposite Sex?

I've taken so much from this particular recording. The two biggest takeaways are a shifted perspective on men and compassion for myself and other women as we struggle to make our relationships work in the quest for love.

Any additional comments?

I came to this work and wanted to learn from Alison out of a desperation to find and make a romantic relationship work. I returned because this work increases my capacity to be a compassionate contributor to the world and to myself. It's about so much for than finding a boyfriend.
