WOW
Revisado: 04-12-25
WOW. It's over. What a ride this series has been. I would love to see this in a TV series - a season per book. Eduardo Bellerini is amazing. I will miss Matthew, but I'm sure I'll revisit the series again.

Very entertaining
Revisado: 03-23-25
This is my first book by Tea Cooper. I loved this one. It was an intriguing story that kept you engaged throughout the story. Loved Jane, Elizabeth, and Michael's relationship. Loved the back and forth between the two time periods. I will be reading more Tea Cooper books.

Not my cup of tea
Revisado: 02-20-25
I've love Amanda Quicks other series, but this one was too much like a soap opera. Just didn't do it for me. I listened on audible and the narrator seemed to shout some of the voices. Just not my cup of tea.

Life is Like a Box of Chocolates
Revisado: 10-22-24
This is a fun story about a woman who is down on her luck and pulls herself up to remake herself. She thought life would be one way and found out that you never know what you're going to get. What I really liked was how real Ivy was. She was not the "perfect" heroine. She was flawed but recognized it. In the end she comes out on top. Not the way she thought she would but on top, nonetheless.

Purpose
Revisado: 10-12-24
We all want to be needed and have purpose. Helen Cartwright has come to terms with the fact that she has outlived her usefulness but a small creature enters her life and shows her that purpose comes in many forms. Given a new lease on life, Helen and Sipsworth form an unusual and committed bond. Really enjoyed seeing Helen's evolution during a one week period of time. Just a good uplifting story.

Good First to the Series
Revisado: 10-12-24
The first book of this series was really good. Enjoyed getting to know Kiera Darby. She's a woman who resides with her sister and husband after the death of her anatomist's husband. Her marriage leaves her with a scandalous reputation, not of her doing - but who in society believes that! Now a murder and who do you think the group thinks is the culprit? So, now it's up to Lady Darby to prove her own innocence with the help of the inquiry agent, Sebastian Cage. On to the next book in the series.

Another Winner
Revisado: 09-07-24
Another winner for Kay Scarpetta. Fingerprints at the scene of an executed convict. Fingers pointing at Kay as a logical suspect. Niece Lucy gets the chance to help solve the case. This one had lots of twist and turns that kept you guessing to the end. Love this series.
