Pet stories are always fun. this one had moments that made you mad, others that made u cry, and those that mad you laugh or smile. Great performance. I love stories with happy endings, or at least an uplifting one

Very Interesting and u usual!

Was expecting a war story buy was very surprised and happy with the story. Tired of same old stuff and I found this fefreshing. Good characters and although the detail on each weapon type is a bit over the top, it actually adds to the odd story in a way. Narration is outstanding. Will start the next one asap.

Fun read. Good Story and Characters

My daughter knows I am a Science Fiction fan (Heinlein, Asimov, Clark) but I enjoy a Science Fantasy book once in a while. This had great characters and the story line moved well. I would read a followup story but those can be hard to make interesting after the first one. Will watch for more from this new author !

Mostly Dime Store Romance Novel

Tried to listen to the whole book. Had to finally stop. There is a good storyline buried in there somewhere but it is mostly a cheeky romance novel. Characters are shallow. He a sad macho hero and she clueless wanting a man cause I'm so lonely. Some would have been ok, but it isout of the story. Really like the ZERO novels with a lot of diverse characters and storyline. Maybe having only two main characters to put this story around was hard to broden out. Im no writer and really respect those that can. This one just was not my cup of tea.

One of the best Audio Book Preformances !!

I love the Hero Series. Was greatly excited when I saw the Audio Book. It was outstanding!! Each species voices were well thought out and preformed with perfection. The only disappointing part I experienced was when the Audio book ended and I realized the other in the series have do not have one done. The upside is that as I re-read the rest of the series, the voices are now firmly implanted in my head and that is what I will hear.

wow.. what a fun ride !

I have always bees a science and science fiction fan. The interweaving of facts and storyline of fiction and science. This is a great story and amazing and insightful look at different species from their views vs your own. I am amaze at the authors inside and talent in building the story using both. Narration is perfect ! Made me feel like I was part of the story, not just an observer.

Just as fun as I expected.

For those who are to young or just unfortunate enough to have never been enthralled by Paul Harvey's stories, Mike Rowe has done an wonderful job of bringing that artistry of story telling back to life. I was able to guess a couple of the back stories but found myself pleasantly laughing in surprise as the stories would unfold at the end. Love this type of narration. It's like the magical bedtime stories you were read as a kid with mystery, educational, and wonder all wrapped up in a not to long story. NTL DR (Not to long, Did Read).
