Good Time Travel story
Revisado: 02-21-18
I've read a few novels recently that surround some type of time travel (Replay by Ken Grimwood is a good one). I picked this up as it follows a similar story line, and does so a little differently - through the mind. There were a number of well developed characters and their intertwined relationships were one of the best parts of the book. I grew up through the 80's so I loved the references to that time frames pop culture, etc.
The narrator was good with one exception - there were a few characters whose voices were barely distinguishable, and some even varied within the same conversations (Michael for example). This detracted a little from the book, but not enough to be a big deal. I will definitely move on to book 2 and look forward to more.

Loved the sound track
Revisado: 09-12-17
This was a good story with good character development. I enjoyed the way Banner folded in the sound track all but a few of the songs are on my own favorites list. The back story of Tom and his wife and son was also interesting. He really grieved for the loss of his son, not so much his wife. Seemed honest and added to the characters story. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This is my honest review. I read and enjoyed the first two books in the Stone Age series. This is listed as the third, though it really stands alone. Would be 5 stars if it was longer.

Great Old School(ish) PI Story
Revisado: 10-18-16
I really liked this book. The story involved the married Dickens couple who team up to solve the murder of a beauty queen. Damien gets involved first, then Millie must take over when he disappears. The plot had some low key humor and quirky characters that made the story totally enjoyable. The narrator would definitely not be my first pick and actually took a little away from the story. Narration was kind of cheezy sounding...Otherwise a solid 4.5-5.0 for me. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher

Missing Persons - Great Mystery Read
Revisado: 09-20-16
This is a great mystery told from three perspectives that intertwine. The narration is excellent with great tone and variation of the characters voices. I loved the 80's time frame, especially the language which was spot on for that time. Really a solid read revolving around the pain and emotion of dealing with a missing person situation. Straight Line Mystery
Revisado: 09-12-16
This was a good story, but I am one who enjoys a good plot twist or two along the way. The characters are interesting and developed enough to enjoy and follow. The plot revolves around a murder, and a pretty good detective coming out of retirement to jump on the case. ***Warning - potential spoiler here***. The story just seems to outline how the detective hounds the perpetrator until he has enough evidence to confront him. Kind of know what happened the whole time. End of story with no surprise. Narrator was ok, but would be much better if he did not over enunciate each word. Took away from the story a little. Gotta Love a great thriller with some humor
Revisado: 08-18-16
I really enjoyed this story. Told in the first person, with just the right amount of humor. The characters seemed real and the narrator brought them to life very well. The story had great flow and suspense. The mid 90's retro setting was perfect and made it fun to hear references to current events of that time period. It was a little short and I really wanted more (this is a compliment to the author). Will look forward to more from Dale Wiley. This book was offered free on Audiobook Boom for an honest review.

Different Type of Mystery
Revisado: 08-10-16
This book was a good mystery that didn't involve the typical detective character. The protagonist is a journalist that gets wrapped up in a murder related to a large media company merger. The characters are interesting and the ending leaves an opening for some type of sequel. I'll be looking for it. The narrator did an excellent job of distinguishing characters and was more performing than narrating. I could have done with out his Tinkerbell giggles when any character was laughing... This was a very interesting and faced pace book. It involved a lot of technology and computer content that was presented in a very understandable form. The narration was outstanding and really made the story move along at the right pace. Very enjoyable. I look forward to more from Ray Perreault! Interesting Take on Virus Outbreak
Revisado: 07-06-16
This book was interesting in pitting drug lords against a cure for addiction. Thought that was a good twist and introduced some good character/story lines. I am interested in seeing where this goes and hope it remains interesting and believable. Excellent First Novel
Revisado: 06-17-16
For a first novel, this is very put together very well. It involves dual stories that have common characters. Both story lines were interesting so it was like reading two novels in one. Overall a solid read. I have already recommended this book to friends who I know will enjoy it. Easily a 5 star but the narrator, though very talented in distinguishing characters, read at a very slow pace that took away from the story.
